Five stars for the game itself, zero stars for the way modern nintendo systems work for a multi device household, forcing us to buy a cartridge to play this game on more than one Switch at a time. Xbox is much better in that regard. This game is great, however, and it was delivered quickly, undamaged, and works great.

My daughter loves this Minecraft game and plays it during her video game time. She enjoys it a lot, and it gives her opportunities to talk about shared topics with her friends at school. I do not allow her to play online, so I cannot speak to the online portion of the experience. As a standalone Minecraft game, however, it is highly recommended.

Whether you're crafting a peaceful village or sprinting from a lava chicken stampede (true story), Minecraft on Switch delivers hours of creativity, chaos, and fun. Pros: Great on all Switch models, vibrant visuals (especially OLED), addictive gameplay, lava chickens! Cons: Highly addictive — you’ve been warned! Final Verdict: If you haven’t played Minecraft on Switch yet, what are you waiting for? The blocks are calling — and the lava chickens are waiting. Let me know if you'd like a shorter or more serious version too!

I always thought this game was like legos, then I bought it for my son and it’s not really anything like legos besides the building up, this game confuses me to watch him play it but he enjoys it maybe a little too much. He plays for hours.
