These adapters for VGA work as they should. My only complaint is with Microsoft changing the adapters so that if you bought them for the Surface Pro 3 docking station, you have a buy new ones to work in the Surface Pro 4 docking station.

I needed to use the Surface 3 as a desktop also when employee was in office. Put 24 inch monitor on their desk. This cable allowed me to hook any monitor to the surface and provide a bigger screen when in the office.

When I purchased my surface tablet I wasn't aware that I could connect to external projector until Best Buy sales associate made me aware of this connector. Now I'm using tablet for sales presentations and loving it.

This was purchased to allow my surface to hook up to the projectors at my college so that I can use this during class to give presentations. The use is intuitive and links up quickly and easily.

Nice adapter, matches all the other cables (color) there are cheaper alternatives however this has a lot better quality and less risk than the 'cheaper' ones

I purchased this adapter for our company laptop which we use for public meetings and presentations on the go. I carry this adapter and an HDMI adapter in the bag so no matter what the setup we can connect without an issue. It works very well with our Microsoft Surface Book, it clicks in with no issues and fits perfectly and looks nice with the surface to keep things consistent.

I needed the ability to connect to projectors when giving presentations and thanks to this cable, I was able to go with a Surface Pro 4 tablet instead of a larger laptop. Gave 4 starts due to price being a little higher.

Picked this up along with the HDMI adaptor for my Surface Pro 4 Pro. Works as advertised with no issues on two trips with presentations.

Plug in port on surface pro...plug into external monitor. Automatically installs drivers...tweeks to screen size and icon placement needed, but, this is an excellent option for those wanting an inexpensive solution to a "desktop" surface pro. Also recommend adding a powered USB hub to extend that 1 usb port and add a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Works without issue - I have an older monitor that still works and I don't want to replace yet - I stand up my surface on my desk where it takes minimal space and use the monitor for large screen real estate.

It's microsoft branded so you know it will work there are cheaper brands out there but I don't risk it when I want/expect quality

I highly recommend you purchase this adapter when you have a Surface Pro. It has come in really handy many times.

If you use your surface for work and you need to use for presentations this item is needed for old VGA connectors

This adapter is perfect and works fantastic with my surface. I had bought an off brand adapter and it broke within 2 months of use. This microsoft adapter is made for the surface and it is sturdy, performs well and it is easy to use. Plus the looks of this product makes it look more professional.

This lets me use my old monitors. I figure I can get a few more years out of them with this adapter.

Wanted to use our MS Surface Pro to a large monitor to see detail close up on large volumes of data/spread sheets. Ms Surface screen great on your lap, too small on desk/table. Solution...this simple connect cable to our secondary large monitor. Worked out great.

A much needed accessory for the Surface Pro 3 if you do presentations. Very easy to use!
