    About all I can say is it's an adapter to let you connect to an external screen. Nothing fancy, seems to be pretty good quality, but time will tell.

    Great adapter if you need to hook up your Surface to an external monitor. I imagine this is mostly for when you are on the road and you need to give a presentation. You can easily connect your Surface tablet to a large screen TV or a projector. It works well every time. 4 stars because of the high price compared to 3rd party alternatives.

    Use my surface pro for meetings when I travel. Normally use the wireless HDMI adapter however found more and more conference rooms only having VGA so picked this up on a recent trip and works great.

    I purchased the Adapter cable to work with my Surface Book as my desktop. It was a simple plug and play and works great. Now I can work on my Surface Book with big screen.

    My Surface Pro is for business use, I attend a lot of meetings and do presentations with a projector People are often surprised when I am able to connect with my Surface. (but not as surprised as when I tap into a display with my wireless display adapter!)

    As far as connectivity cables go, these are like most others. What I like about them is that the material isn't so stiff that it doesn't contour to the storage space available. Also, the cables are small and easy to carry with. Good purchase.
