Honestly, wasn’t all that impressed. Decent for a teenager or a kid to use. As far as myself, I would definitely go with a DSLR.

Item arrived, did not power on, memory card was missing, still have not received a full refund. I would highly suggest you never purchase from a third party on Best Buy's website, they clearly do not vet their suppliers.

This has many of the basic features of a modern mirrorless camera. But it is very cheaply made, has very poor light sensitivity due to the small sensor, and extremely poor color rendition. An incredible annoyance is the video button right next to the thumb rest - no matter how careful I was, I kept starting the video. I bought this for my daughter to photograph hawks that are nesting behind her house, but the image quality with the zoom was worse than her phone. I returned it. If you are a beginner in photography you are better off buying a used "real" camera.

I purchased this camera in July 2024. The quality of the photos have been mediocre. The cameras has multiple settings including one for different scenes but, it did not seem to matter regarding the quality of your pictures. Last week-the Zoom stopped worked and I could not change any settings. Because it was still under warranty I returned it back to Best Buy. The tech who looked at it was very nice but I found out that Minolta does not repair this camera. Best Buy gave me a store card to put towards the cost of a new camera. No fuss or issues whatsoever. I was very please with their Customer Service. The store staff were great but, I would not recommend this brand of camera again due to the issues and the fact Minolta does not accept returns for repairs. hence, why the 1 Star.

I am struggling with the autofocus and zoom. It lacks clarity in it's focus and the zoom isn't as good as my Canon Powershot cameras. It's not as easy to handle. The buttons are too easy to push accidentally causing unknown challenges.

I've been looking for a massive-zoom camera with the swivel LCD screen for a long time, since my Nikon Crappix 600 broke. So I ordered this instantly (not wanting another Nikon). I really love how you can control this cameral from your phone with the wifi feature!! Excellent! How can you go wrong with the classic name like Minolta?! The good old days!

    Crummy Best Buy return policy

Camera didn't work but we kept trying different things to be sure it wasn't user error. As a result, the day I tried to return the camera was 19 days after delivery, beyond the 14 day Best Buy return policy. This policy was not obvious to the online shopper. Even though the in-store rep told me I had received a defective camera, he would not allow me to return it for a refund. I will never order online from Best Buy again.
