    Very Inaccurate and Inconsistent

I had the Mio Link for about two weeks and ended up returning it to Best Buy and getting a refund. It is extremely inaccurate and constantly disconnects from my phone. I will have it basically on top of my Galaxy S3 and it will drop connection, it's that bad. I thought it was the case I had on my phone so I removed that from the equation and it was just as bad. The Mio GO and MapMyFitness apps will show varying readings and sometimes be off as much as 20BPM. Also with MapMyFitness I have to click CONNECT a half dozen or more times before it magically sees it and pairs it properly. Overall it was making my workout a challenge and not in a good way. While we are on the subject of Apps, the Mio GO Android app lacks almost everything needed for this device to be useful. All it will do is display your heart rate and let you set different target Zones. They keep saying that the "full Mio GO virtual experience like with iOS will be available on Android soon!" but from my research they have been saying that for a while now. As for its inaccuracies I have tried to wear it so the sensor was on the underpart of my wrist and it made no difference. Some posts stated it has to be worn about three fingers width higher than where you'd think you'd have to wear it which places it on your forearm, not your wrist. That makes it very uncomfortable and doesn't improve accuracy. Switching wrists didn't do squat either. Another issue is that the USB cord for the charging dock is super short and essentially dangles from my PC while it charges instead of resting on my desk. While it holds the device in place with magnets, the magnets are not very strong and it will come off the charging plate especially if you leave the strap on it which weighs it down even more. My wife bought one the same time as me and had all of the same problems and tried all of the same things I did to improve it to no avail. I really wanted to love this thing, but it was just very poorly designed and from what I read, trying to get support for it is a nightmare. They are quick to respond initially and after they get an understanding of your issues they go M.I.A. on you. Save the Hundo and do some additional research for a better option.

Doesn't do much without a connected App

This product is quite comfortable and easy to use. It does read your heart rate rather quickly and seems to be pretty accurate. The problem is, there are really no apps that are compatible with it to show you any kind of data unless you pay the app a monthly fee to use the heart rate data. I was looking for something, ANYTHING, that would record your heart rate history as you were working out, and it didn't seem that a single app offered this without their premium service. MIO's own app doesn't do anything except show you your current heart rate!!! They say they are working on an update to their app but, for now, the MIO link is relatively useless to me. I will be switching to the MIO Alpha so I can at least see some data.

Much better than the chest strap monitors

Overall a really good monitor. It is much more convenient than the chest strap monitors. I never ended up using the chest one because it was so annoying to put on and uncomfortable for long runs. You do need to wear this a little tight (can't be flopping on your wrist) but nothing crazy. I've found it to be really accurate, though sometimes it gets a weird spike or drop (probably because I shifted it or something). But I use it for every run now and have found it to be a good monitor. A little pricey compared to some of the cheaper monitors, but the convenience makes up for it.

I purchased this as an alternative to my HRM that I put on my chest. For that, it works well. My only issue with it is that you will also need to carry your phone with the app running to monitor and record your HR. If it had memory, like my Polar Loop coupled with my H7, it would be perfect. Not that it is a big deal to have my phone with me, I usually have it with me listening to music anyway.

I always had issues with my heart rate strap giving readings. You need to sweating for the heart strap to work. As a man the heart strap feels somewhat like a bra :) This just works. Accurate readings right away. I have not had any issues.

Does a good job monitoring HR on the wrist. Needs a little bit of improvement on continuous monitoring. Sometimes it is inaccurate. Great for the price and on the wrist.

The product itself is simple and great but the software and compatibility with apps needs improvement

Easy way to track heart rate without looking at phone app and without a chest strap.
