    Not what I expected

It is what it is: A watch that can measure your heart rate. Sometimes it takes 3 seconds, sometimes it takes 10 seconds to do so. While working out, it's annoying to touch the two sensors for that long and keep an eye on the watch to make sure it got your heart rate right. The plastic band is not comfortable and you're better off just wearing a chest strap. I ended up buying a chest strap and receiver for my rowing machine instead. The Mio is sitting unused at the moment. It'll be good for jogging and things like that, but since I don't jog or run, I just have no use for it. It's not a bad watch or anything. It's just not all that great either. Handy for when you want to find your resting heart rate. The calories burned and other features just seem gimmicky as far as I'm concerned.

I like this product since it can display your heart rate without a chest strap. The thing to realize is that this watch does not give you continual readout of your heart rate but rather reads your heart rate when you are wearing the watch and press two fingers down on the two silver buttons for a few seconds. You have to do that every time you want the heart rate. It is good for someone like me who occasionally wants to know my heart rate but not well suited for someone like a runner who wants a constant monitoring of his or her heart rate. It is a good product and seems quite accurate.

If you are beginning an excercise routine and need a heart rate monitor, the Mio is a good one to have. It's calorie counter comes in handy for letting me know if the intensity of my workouts is good. The one problem I have is that I often have to stop moving to get a reading.

I lost weight using this watch, no need for crazy diets. I joined MIO's 3500 Calorie club and followed their sensible lifestyle advice and have already lost 9ilbs... there's more to go!

Basic product for beginners in training. Too time consuming to stop your workout to place your fingers to get a heart rate. Sometimes doesn't read. For the price I expected more.

I didnt want to spend $300 on a HR monitor so I bought this one.. and it works just as well. I also bought their GPS unit, but I use this watch for everyday use.
