    Excellent Watch - Great Price

Before purchasing I looked at several of the other brands. I opted for this watch because of the price, overall value, and looks. It is the size of a regular watch, and looks great. It has also performed very well for me. Sweat and rain do not cause it to malfunction, which is a problem with at least one other popular brand. The GPS and the heart rate monitor work extremely well. No problems maintaining a GPS or heart rate connection. You can easily download your run data to your computer through a wired connection and view your run on MapMyRun. The trade off here is that with some more expensive watches you can download your run data wirelessly. This was not important to me. I love that I can view my data on my computer including my per lap (mile, 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile - whatever I choose) heart rate, speed, time, calories burned etc. Great Watch. I highly recommend it!

Bad for indoor use and unusable software

The overall looking of this watch is great. It is fine for outdoor use. Indoor mode is a joke, no data is recorded, only total duration, calories, max and average heart beat rate. I would like to see how my heart rates changes during the workout... Surprise! It is not possible when you use it indoor mode (no GPS signal). But the worst part is the software. It is complete outdated and lack basic functions. There is a link to a website that is suppose to show your outdoor running in a map... And, surprisingly again, it doesn't work!!! No decent information in their website either. Forget it! Go for another brand. Any well known should be far better than this one.

A good overall GPS unit... and cheap

GPS watches are by their very nature complex pieces of kit, and this one is no exception. It does take some time to set up and learn, and I probably still don't know it's full capabilities. I looked at other GPS watches and they are just as complex. The software that comes with the product is ok, but I use the MapMyRun sync to view my data. I'm guessing they figured most people would, and hence the watches own online software is just a back-up. Great for hiking etc... but you must remember to switch off the GPS when you don't need it as it drains the battery real quick.

I have been using my Mio Quest since January, and I love it!! The GPS wherever I run and I have found that it has helped me improve my fitness and abilities. Tracking runs with as much detail makes the hard work worthwhile. Mio's customer service is outstanding: my dogs chewed through my USB cable and Mio were only only too happy to send me a new one for free!! This Heart Rate Monitor is the best I have yet used, and now that I have a new cable I can keep running and tracking my efforts!!

Good watch, mediocre software, bad support

The watch works well but the software needs more options and has a few software bugs. The desktop software alsa has a few bugs. I am using the newest software with suggested fixes but it still has bugs. I tried to point out a bug to see if it was a known issue but the software support team didn't understand the issue and then after they did understand the issue they got rude and defensive.

I've been looking at getting a GPS navigational watch for some time to use on hikes. Most of them like Garmin are ugly and big, you couldn't wear it as your everyday watch. The Quest can be worn all the time, and you can turn GPS off to save the battery. Comes with a chest strap for you to track your heart rate while doing your adventures... pretty sweet watch.
