Purchased when it was on sale for $50 off the regular price. In the end, it is what you pay for. The picture is not very bright, but for kids in a dark room it would be great. Very light which is both a plus and a minus. Easy to carry due to size and weight, but can be a little unstable with the HDMI cable pushing it around for same reason (size and weight). Too blurry if you expect to read numbers or letters like would be found in Excel or other Office product. I would recommend for kids, but not much use for others.

You have to keep in mind that these really small pico type projectors aren’t going to give you the image of a real – dedicated projector. Brightness is always going to be lacking, and this is definitely the case with this unit. Yes, it’s small and compact. As long as you understand it’s shortcomings it will serve its purpose. I’d estimate that up to 32 inches the picture looks relatively good . Over that, and quality starts to degrade. That being said, even in a dark room – this doesn’t give you a really bright, crisp picture. Again – it’s really small and therefore not packing a really powerful light source.

It's Not A Bad Projector Just Not For Me...

It's a little projector that works but can be a big pain to use. This is my first Pico style projector so I wasn't sure what to expect. Its picture, considering the size, resolution and lumens was really good. I was of course using it outside and at night for movie night so no real light issues to interfere. Picture quality was great as well again considering its size and resolution. However with its size come certain problems that I had not contemplated. Oddly enough its size to me is its downfall. It doesn’t connect via Bluetooth or any other wireless method. This didn't seem to be a big deal at first until you realize most cables you’re going to use weight more than the projector. Problem being an HDMI cable wants to bend and have its own way so the projector wouldn't stay straight. Constantly trying to keep it from moving became a chore. Plugging an external speaker in wasn't bad and you really do need one as the internal speaker at least for us wasn't doing the job. Only real problem with sound was turning up and down the volume with the little buttons as it doesn’t have a remote and that darned HDMI cable would move the projector. I think if the unit could connect via Bluetooth or some other wireless technology it would have been a keeper but trying to keep the projector from moving made it an unpleasant experience. And in all honesty I can't think of any scenario where this projector would work as you will always need to connect via an HDMI cable. Sadly that was the only real problem. Any other complaints about picture quality, lumens, etc. should be expected considering the specs of the unit.

This is my very first projector. The packaging was great and I love the size of this projector. Plug and play worked well, but the audio was less than nominal. This should be expected with such a small device with HDMI connected (which sends the audio through the projector's small speakers). I found it worked fairly well in small spaces, but the light output and screen size was way too small for my taste. I returned it for those reasons, but it might be a good starter for a young adult or camping. I would only recommend it for viewers not requiring a screen size past 29" or so for clear text readings. Other video images will work past 29" but are not as bright (as expected).

I recently purchased this and the hdmi add on for my mac... turns out the only cable that was available isn't the one for my MacBook I'm so sad I had to return it. The picture was great!

This product could use a better quality bright luminous LED that are out in the market and achieve better brightness instead the manufacturer chose a flimsy plastic casing and not so bright LEDs. Price point is too high for a product that has sub-par performance. I could not view the projected slide show in a curtain covered one window 10 X10 room.

To be so small, this is a surprisingly good, portable projector. I only wish that I could adjust the size of the projection. You have to get pretty far away from a wall/screen for it to project a large image. I bought it to give on-the-go presentations, and some rooms have been too small to get a decent-size image on the wall.

I purchased this to use with a laptop with a small screen in place of a monitor. For this, it did not work well. I would have had to go so far away it was impossible. However, for movies and videos it would be a great option: lightweight and bright.

The room needs to be pitch black in order to see what you are projecting. Other than that, its very portable, it comes with an HDMI cord, and you can also add your amazon stick to watch movies! (Of course you need wifi)

Great for a couple of people in a dark area. Screen can be around 50" or so... I returned it and got one with 500 lumens. Just because of the use mine will see.

I bought it because of the very small size and not the projection. It will project, but not well, it is a little fuzzy and small screen. But it will work in a pinch and it is very portable.

This is a cool little portable projector. I got it during a Best Buy Deal of the Day. It does not take the place of a home theater projector, but can be used on many occasions.

As the title suggests this is on the low cost spectrum of mini projectors but for $100 they could do a much better job with the brightness! Daylight will essentially wash out the image.

As I hadn't purchased a pocket projector before, I was unsure of how many lumens would be appropriate for use in a professional (office) setting. While I was able to get decent quality at a distance which allowed for a 6 ft projection (powerpoint), it was so dim I had to turn off all of the lights so I could see it. It would be great for a very small group that only needs a small screen, but I might as well just use my laptop at that point. Also, the item says it can run video mirrored from your smartphone, but no adapter in the package - I returned it the next day and bought a standard size.

I have it for a month. Handy, but does not really serve my purpose. Projection screen is small and only for self presentation (max. 2). works only in dark room and sound is reasonable. May have it for fun, but not for serious presentation or movie lovers
