Setup directions should be in the box...not have to go to the web.... also, volume seemed inconsistent

Sadly the salesman sold me the wrong unit. Said it was a Bluetooth unit and it wasn’t. I also found the same unit the salesman sold me for $100 cheaper somewhere else

Did not work right out of the box. Nothing came with it to assist me. I returned it and Best Buy tried to charge me a restocking fee for something that didn't ever work.

This projector is an awesome backyard and travel projector. It gets bright but not uber bright. It has a built in battery which gives you more flexibility for where you can take it. This is not a home theater projector. Although it can project at 120", pretty decently mind you. This projector is all auto except for focus. The on/off is the lense cover slider so you can't really mount it high without having to touch it. You will need a tripod to mount this projector or use a book or something similar to prop it up. It has nothing built in to angle it. The colors are somewhat ok, it gets super saturated on dark scenes and very red. On light scenes it looks good but that's about it. Again not a home theater projector. There also is zero adjustment for brightness or saturation so what you see is what you get. I tried to look in the manual to find out how to adjust but the link doesn't work. Also the Keystone is auto as well. You shine and adjust and it will blink to a correct position based on the angle of the projector. The keystone works very well. This projector is a cool portable projector for travel, pop up theaters in the yards, and presentations. You literally turn it on angle it and it's done. If you're looking for that, then this is the projector is for you.

I must admit that it looks nice.but for a $500 projector that can't be zoom in or out is simply RIDICULOUS

Hi, thanks for your comments. The M600 is designed for portability , optical zoom in or out can only be supported in a larger projector. We have other models with digital zoom, but they are not battery operated and are much larger than the M600. MiroirUSALLC

When I first opened the box the packaging is very nice, almost identical to how an iPad or iPhone is packed. The unit itself comes fully charged and very compact. It feels like a quality product right out of the box. When you open the lens case the projector powers on. The picture is very clear and square, meaning I sit the projector on my desk and aimed it all the way up the wall and there is no focus or screen shape issues. The reason for a star deduction is because there are only 3 buttons on it which I figured out quickly myself. The other option is to view the manual online since one is not included. The other reason is for the price. I think this would be a fantastic option for trainers, or people traveling and presenting, or an occasional movie outside by the pool. If you want a home theater projector I would recommend something else.

    The best portable projector yet!

This portable projector has the brightest and highest quality picture of any of the pico or portable projectors I have used. While it is a bit larger than my last portable projector, it is still small enough to fit in my briefcase along with my laptop or in my weekend bag. This projector is bright enough to project a clearly readable spreadsheet on the large screen in our company conference room. At home it fills my 120" dropdown screen with a great High Definition (1080p) image. I had a little trouble figuring out how to get the projector into normal mode (600 LED Lumens, which is the brightest). The included basic instructions do not cover eco mode vs normal mode. The instructions downloaded from the website told me to simultaneously press the volume buttons (but nothing happened). I finally e-mailed the manufacturer and was told that they were correcting the instructions and that the proper way to achieve the brighter mode was to long press the center button. This solution did make the picture brighter. I watched a couple of movies and streamed a number of TV shows. I got an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half on a full charge in the brighter mode. The projector is supposed to go for two hours in eco mode but I have yet to try that long in that mode. There at 2 inputs on the rear of the unit, HDMI and USB C. There is a standard USB port that is used for powering another device and not for video input. There is also a 3.5 mm audio out jack, a power input and a reset button. There are only 3 control buttons on top, volume up, volume down and mode (switches inputs). While larger than my previous portable projector this is still very portable and packable. This represents a huge improvement over my previous projector in that it is much brighter and able to project a larger and higher definition picture. It's not suited for bright rooms (but none of the others are either). I love this little projector, it's worth the little bit of extra size. I can't wait for my next cartoons on the ceiling session with the grandkids.

Device packaging is impressive and includes a simple set-up guide, however it didn't explain much. Fortunately, it's a real easy set-up. Unit has a rechargeable battery so plugging in is not necessary, but I did so I could fully charge the unit. After plugging in, attach a source via HDMI, open the lens cover, and point at the wall. It has a small wheel-type focus and distance from wall determines image size. I set up about 9' from the wall and received a full 120" image! Picture was crisp, clear and had great color. Comes with a USB port that I used to power a Roku stick and in no time I was navigating Netflix and watching! I was amazed at the image even when projecting onto an exterior (tan) wall of the house. Had I used a white background, or a portable screen I'm sure it would have been even more amazing. Includes a 5-watt speaker which works well but I connected an external speaker using the 3.5mm aux jack and it was even better! Unit is very small measuring only 9"x5" and at just over 1" thick, it could easily fit into a jacket pocket, laptop bag, and be transported for instant movies! This is my first portable projector and I was very impressed. However, I was surprised that it didn't include a remote control. For watching tv/movies with a Roku it wasn't an issue but if you were using this for business presentations, a remote would definitely be a plus. Overall, a great product!

I have less than 6 months with item and it started to over heat and tirn off. It wont last more than 5 min on before it shuts down. Its only purpose was work presentation that was administered once a week. Definitely buy insurance with it if plan to buy it.

Dark scenes are to dark to the point of not seeing details of the film. The 720p version of this brand projector is leaps and bounds better especially with color accuracy.
