Customers are saying

Customers praise the Micro Pro Projector M125 for its compact size, solid build quality, and surprisingly bright image, even noting its portability and long battery life. However, some users point out that the resolution is low, resulting in a less sharp image, especially with text, and that it lacks keystone correction. The projector's brightness is appreciated, particularly in darker environments. Overall, it's considered a convenient and portable option for casual viewing.

    Perfect for unusual situations

Let’s start off by stating what this project is not. It is NOT a home theater projector. It could, of course, be used that way, but it has only standard-definition resolution. What this projector IS is a perfect companion for someone traveling and who needs to make a presentation on the fly. This thing’s greatest strength is its size. It practically fits in your shirt-pocket. Of course, there is a power cable as well, which connects through a mini-USB port (cable and adapter provided), and the projector itself has a battery to make on-the-fly presentations easier. Then charge up the projector for the next time when you get home. For me, this is perfect in another way. I teach laboratory courses at a local university, and I’m always wanting a way to show quick presentations describing experiements and so forth. That’s not easy to do in the lab because there is no projector or screen, and there is no good wall space on which to project the image. I usually end up having the students crowd around my laptop’s screen. This projector solves those problems. I purchased a separate screen that can be hung from the wall, and I place this projector on a nearby benchtop and connect it to my laptop computer. Voila! Instant capability to project my Powerpoint presentation or anything else I want to show. When done, it all quickly stows into a small package, and I put it all aside until the next time it is needed. The instruction booklet is just four pages showing the projector and what every button and port on it does, how to connect it, and troubleshooting suggestions. The only video connection is through HDMI, and an HDMI cable is included as well. There are built-in speakers, and there is an audio-out (mini-plug) jack to connect to external speakers if you wish. There is a USB port, but it is not for video input. Rather, as the instructions say, it is to provide power to an HDMI streaming stick if you have one. There is a tripod mount centered on the bottom so you can position it in this way if there is no convenient flat surface on which to place it. In addition to these, there is a power button, a focus knob, and volume controls. I had this projector connected to my computer and up and running within two minutes of opening the box. The picture quality is, as noted, only standard definition, but my Powerpoint displayed just fine for the need I have. This is a niche product, but if you have a need to show computer presentations on the fly and/or in unusual locations, this can fit the bill nicely.

Small Projector That Delivers Impressive Images

Weighing just 7 oz, this small, powerful and simple 3.9” x 3.9” x 1.1” compact mini projector fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and still manages to deliver a clear, impressive projected image up to 70 inches! Seemingly very well designed and made of quality materials, the first clue as to what a great product this is going to be is how carefully it was packaged to not only protect it, but to present itself ready to work right out of the box. Built to last, it delivers an 854 by 480p native resolution and is equipped with an LED lamp built to deliver up to 20,000 hours of projecting time. It works with android devices, laptops, and apple products. On a full charge, its rechargeable battery is tested to last up to 2 hours. The Miroir M125 Micro Pro Projector is equipped with two built-in 1 W speakers which work great for small groups, but if more sound is needed it has an audio out jack (3.5mm) that allows for an auxiliary speaker. It also has a USB out port for charging the device while using it for presentations and an HDMI input 1x. For Apple iPhone and iPad products this works perfect, but a lighting to HDMI connection needs to be purchased to connect the Apple product to the HDMI cable. This accessory is very affordable, and a good Apple certified product should work. The M125 Micro Pro Projector has a manual focus, a throw distance of 1.2, projects 100 Lumens and delivers a 400:1 contract. It works in semi-dark spaces almost as well as in totally dark spaces. It is a semi-professional to professional little projector that could be an asset to any backpack or briefcase. Even my 4-year-old great nephew Karson thinks it is “Cool” as a streaming device. As a streaming device or for delivering presentation to small groups, viewing and projecting TV shows and Movies from your portable devices, and or explaining a new concept to your office mates, I highly recommend that you take a look at this one if you are in the market for a streaming projector. It has a 1-year warranty and is actually a better projector than some laptop power point projectors that I have had in the past weighing 15 lbs. or more. It is fun, it is cute, and it delivers a professional, quality image. I do not think that you will think you went wrong with this one!

    Great alternative for a TV

This is my first mini projector, actually my first ever projector for that matter. So I didn't know what to expect. All I needed was some kind of medium that I can use in our master bedroom as I didn't want to have a TV in there. I wanted something portable that I can take and use somewhere else as well. I had an idea of getting a projector since a long time but couldn't find a good one whose price could also be justified. No doubt there are many mini projectors available on Amazon but honestly, I don't trust most of those cheaply priced projectors. The more trusted brands were a bit expensive. I couldn't find anything until this one. I had never heard of Mirior brand name before. So I did some research before getting the projector. They looked promising, so I thought of giving them a try & I'm glad I did. The set up was relatively easy. I connected my MacBook Pro through USB-C cable and that was it. It immediately projected my computer screen on to the wall. I do not have a projector screen yet and don't think I'll need one as the wall works just fine. You will definitely need a screen if you plan to use it outside. I was very much impressed with the sound too. It was loud enough for our bedroom. It was loud and clear. For outside use, I would definitely recommend connecting it to a bigger speaker. The screen can go up to 100 inches which is obviously a big upgrade from our primary TV downstairs which is 70 inches. I did try expanding it to 100" and the image was very crisp and clear. Mirior claims 2 hours of battery life which is pretty much what we got out of it the first time. There are a variety of input/output slots available in this projector: Audio-out via a headphone jack, HDMI, USB-C-in and a power port for use with the included power supply. There's also USB-out available to charge your phone or the google chromecast if you plan to use that. It also has an option where you can use a tripod to set it on. But be careful, you cannot mount it upside down on the ceiling. It doesn't invert the screen. At least, I couldn't find it anywhere. This is the only negative point I found about it but it's not enough to deduct any star. Overall, I'm very much pleased with this gadget and would definitely recommend it.

This item was purchased because I was hosting an outdoor marvel movie night. Although the size of this product was convenient, the speaker was not. I had about 20 guests who attended and it was quite difficult to hear, even sitting close to the projector and with several speaker changes.

While Miroir may have opted for the Micro Pro Projector name, the M125 is far from being a professional level device. Before I explain, let's start with what's in the box. In addition to the M125 projector you will find the standard quick start guide, USB cord and power brick, and HDMI cable. While there isn't much of a learning curve on using this device, don't look to the included guide, or even the Miroir site for any help. You won't find it. Registering for a Miroir account provided no additional information either. The user product support is severely lacking. I found nothing on how to troubleshoot, how to replace the bulb, or even what type of bulb or where to purchase one. Why Miroir opted for the "pro" designation with this projector is beyond me. I found nothing to remotely justify the naming. The only controls you have with the M125 are volume and focus. That's it. None of the features you would expect in a professional level device exist on this projector. I will point out some of what I consider to be missing essentials. First, there are no adjustments or "legs" to control the angle height. To do this you will need to place the projector on a surface at the height needed. However, this device can be attached to a tripod. There is no keystone correction option available either. Again, you will have to physically move or prop the device to obtain a proper viewing angle. This projector really needs to be level, centered, and pointing directly at the viewing surface. Otherwise I found there to be quite a bit of angle distortion. There is no sliding lens cover as found in higher-end devices. This means you can't "pause" your presentation or create a black screen. You will need to place a paper, cloth or other covering over the lens to obtain these results. I could find no documentation anywhere indicating how many lumens this product outputs. There are no brightness controls or color correction. The brightness of this device is not good at all. You will not be able to see the picture if attempting to use this in even dimly lit rooms. The room will need to be very, very low-light. You are limited to having input from a single HDMI source. While there is a USB port, it does not support video input. There is no bluetooth support or connection available on the M125 projector. There is a 3.5mm audio jack, and audio can be sent via HDMI. The audio output from the 1W internal speakers is surprisingly loud. While a bit tin-like at higher levels, you'll have no problem projecting sound in a small to mid-sized room. The volume rockers on the side work well, but I did notice a large jump in volume between the lower levels. I connected to the M125 using a MacBook Air. Initially only my background displayed, no desktop and no audio. I had to go into system preferences and change the video settings to mirror, and the audio to the projector speakers. Once completed, I had no issues. The audio sync was spot on with the video. As I mentioned earlier, using in a low light room did not produce good results, and in a well-lit room the video was nearly invisible. However, in a room with no windows and only ambient light the picture was clear and the focus adjustment worked very well. There is an internal battery which is a nice feature. Miroir indicates an approximate two-hour battery life and I received just over that time. There are battery level indicator lights on the top of the device to gauge remaining time. This projector has a long, long way to go before it earns the "pro" designation. This will not be my go-to projection device, however given the very small form factor and solid-build quality, I will take this along as my backup projector. It is small, compact, and easy enough to toss in a bag. I have a hard time recommending this device as-is. I'm sure there are some who may find this fits their needs, but for me, this is barely an entry-level device. The lack of controls, inputs, and adjustments makes this a device I just cannot get behind.
