Mirror's Edge Catalyst is the sequel to one of the most unique games in the last generation, Mirror's Edge, and takes the parkour mechanics of that and evolves that into a brand new and revolutionary title worth playing. Nothing looks or feels like Mirror's Edge - the gameplay is fluid, the story is fantastic, and the overhaul they've done makes this the Mirror's Edge it always deserved to be. Here's to hoping we get more from this seminal series in the future.

The strength of this game is the ways you can break free of the ground and move through your environment. Parkour is a liberating, exhilarating romp across the virtual landscape of Glass City, and a fresh take on video game movement. The graphics are great, and the story line is good, but the real star is the ways you can control your character.

One of the more underrated titles this generation. This has better visuals, controls & most importantly better combat than part one. Grabbed this up at a low price, worth every penny!

I bought this came because it looked to have good potential. But, after trying to give it a chance it now sits unplayed on my computer. I couldn't get into the gameplay mechanics of it and the storyline was not engaging to me. Also, with having a system containing 2 overclocked 980ti cards and an Intel 6700K processor, it is a little disappointing that the game is not well optimized enough to run at max settings at 4K resolution at 60FPS.

This game is very unique. If you played and liked the first Mirror's Edge, you will love Catalyst. The story is longer and more fleshed out. There are more characters and they are more interesting. The ability to free roam around a large area is a welcome feature that the first game did not have and the environment is genuinely interesting to explore. The one apparent down side to Catalyst is the repetition of the side missions. They are all basically the same but they do give xp so there is motivation to do them. As a fan of the first Mirror's Edge, I give Catalyst 5 stars.

Considering the price cuts on this game, it's well worth the money. Even if you don't play the story, this game has free roam and parkour. What else is there to need? You can get enough hours just doing side missions and speed running things in the city.

Bland open world with not much to do, but it's fun to just run around it. If only they had time to polish it a little more and add more variety to activities, or sculpt the world to be more varied and interesting.

The critics hate the story but Mirror's was never about being an Emmy-award winning story. This is not a game with a huge story focus. The plot is just enough to tie together the world, and the world is mostly what you'll remember long after the story mode is over. The gameplay still feels great like the first game with some nice improvements here and there to help everything flow a lot nicer. It's still a unique experience you won't have anywhere else.

Great graphics and fast paced. Constantly running gets repetitive and boring. Would need recommend at full price. $30 or less is worth it.

My son has been enjoying this game so far. It has kept him interested.
