This is and always has been my favorite baseball game. Once again it looks even more realistic and the playing is superb. A must have for any baseball fan

This game is great! A must have for any baseball fan. There are plenty of game play options. --play online or vs CPU with current teams --battle the cpu to dominate the entire baseball world in conquest mode --battle royale pits you vs a human online with a drafted team with the winner gaining special prizes --diamond dynasty lets you build your own team with current and former players --franchise mode allows you to control all aspects of the team --create a player and take your player from the scouting combine, to the draft and into your pro career!

What a fantastic game. Everything from game play to graphics, to modes included. When you look at a game like Madden and compare it to the show as they are both the only options for NFL and MLB there is no comparison. Even though there is no competition the Show continues to deliver year after year. Everything you'd ask for in a sports game is here. I enjoy the deep franchise mode and all the little things this game gets right. Game play mechanics are great, modes are a plenty, and its surely a very pretty game. If you like baseball no reason to pass this up!

Purchased this for my kids to play. The graphics are great and the game is easy enough for my 6 year old to play and have a good time.

This game is awesome, closest thing to actual baseball! Just need to change the announcers but still awesome game for any baseball fan.

MLB: The Show hits a homerun! The franchise has never looked, fueled, or played better. The attention to detail Dan Diego Studios puts in to their games are second to none. There is a reason why The Show is the only MLB Franchise for gaming. There is even a "Boost" type of pitch that allows for you to choose the exact location of your pitch. Some call it cheating, I call it fun. There is a limited amount of "Boost" that you can use, and it does not include online play. All in all, I love the game and franchise.

This game reminds me of mvp baseball from way back when. Everything is really fun, the road to the show mode is a highlight.

Mlb the show 16 graphics are amazing attention to detail easy for a beginner but gets challenging when you get use to it. Overall a great game, would recommend to anyone who loves baseball or even likes it. Great home run derby also

I would recommend this if you've played the other mlb games. If this is your first tie playing it is a bit hard. But overall fun

Yes, the main game and graphics are the same for the most part with a roster update. However, this game is made in the Road to the Show and Diamond Dynasty modes. New modes like Conquest in Diamond Dynasty are addicting and fun. My favorite upgrade is the option to skip load times between plays in Road to the Show. Makes it quick and easy to play between work and family. I was not sure this would be worth buying the game, but it definitely is if you play Road to the Show at all.

The Show 16 continues to impress each year. This years gameplay and graphics are top notch, but playing against the computer still remains difficult to master. Overall a worthwhile purchase for the MLB enthusiast.

MLB: The Show 16 for PS$ is by far the most realistic baseball video game released so far. The graphics and gameplay are equally amazing. Every game is a new adventure in the power of the PS4. I feel fully immersed in the game. The details of each stadium, the players physical attributes as well as their mannerisms is truly incredible. You will feel such a part of the game you will be searching for the vendors in your room. I highly recommend this game to any PS4 owner.

I took a year off from this franchise after buying then not playing last year's version much at all. Coming back, I found the hitting to be not so good. It starts you at a beginner level, but this fails to yeah you any plate discipline, as balls and strikes are so hard to differentiate. It's almost like there are frames missing when the ball nears your player. Now, that's not to say you won't be able to hit. In fact, after a few games I was scoring a fair amount. The problem is that I was still hacking away at the plate. Furthermore, I had way more success banging home runs with the normal swing than with the power swing. Otherwise, this game is too-notch in every way. If the batting was more refined, this would be a 5-star rating.

As this is the only baseball game on consoles we are thankfully given one of, if not the best, sports game every year by Sony and the team who work on The Show. The game has great commentary, if a little stale after 10 years, game play is incredibly fluid and realistic, stat tracking is top notch and graphics look as close to the real thing as I have seen. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of baseball, has a PS4, and has a ton of time on their hands.

It is a big step up from the previous game. The graphics and the computer AI is a lot smoother. Just like the old game the updated rosters is always a plus so I can keep up with the real time games while playing this one. The new feature showtime is really cool, geanted it is not the best when you want it to be half the time but it still can come in handy when your player is batting in the ninth inning and there is a runner on second and you need to score to win.

For those familiar with the franchise, I don't think you'll notice any major changes. I mainly play RTTS mode and the biggest change is except for having to go back to the menu after every game you play, you go back to the screen after every series I think. Either way, it's a lot better than last year. Gameplay is still fluid, fielding is a bit different and more engaging. Batting/hitting is a little bit more difficult in my opinion. Best baseball game around

The Show really does a great job of transferring the intracacies of the game to a playable and enjoyable video game. Unlike some sports games, the setting adjustments provide a personalized experience that doesn't leave you feeling like gameplay is either too difficult or too easy. If you're a fan of baseball, love the strategy of the game, and everything from a sac bunt to homerun, a set up pitch to strikeout, then you will enjoy this game.
