This game is stellar. It packs quite a few game modes, including several different types of online play. Features are updated weekly, as well as the rosters. Offline modes can be a little repetitive, but if you're looking for a competitive online experience, or if you're simply a diehard baseball fan, you'll love this game.

Excellent baseball video game. Very realistic simulated major league base ball game. I really like the graphics and game play. Enjoy the franchise mode. A must for all diehard MLB fans.

I bought MLB The Show 17 for my son. It was $39.99 and was on sale for $19.99. He absolutely loves this game

I have purchased The Show games each year for the most part and I truly enjoy the latest installment. The Show 17 continues to get better and better and definitely focuses on the unique aspects of baseball. They have added functions such as bad hops in the infield and outfield, injuries (if playing the season mode), players trying to hurry throws for close plays, better graphics throughout the stadiums and games, etc. I really enjoy the Season mode which lets you travel around as GM, Manager and Players like the real teams do visiting each stadium during the season. The All Star game and Home Run derby were great during the mid season classic as well. I would say the time and effort put into the game by the programmers and developers is amazing. The online gaming is great as well as you can play anyone around the world. My son plays teams all over the US and many friends love playing round robin tournaments from different states instead of the old days where you had to be in the same room!

Solid game. Not overly difficult, several ways to bat and pitch to find what works best for you. Smooth online play besides the occasional lagging which I attribute more to an opponent's subpar internet connection. A little too much micro managing in franchise mode but you can ignore it and still enjoy.

I have owned two previous versions of MLB The Show and the greatness of the franchise is what I guess keeps me from giving it 5 stars today. The game is great in many respects and I suppose the developers are following the "if ain't broke, don't fix it" motto. If you've never owned MLB The Show, do yourself the favor and buy it. It's a baseball fans dream game. You can literally get wrapped up doing fantasy drafts over and over for hours on end before even playing a game. At the discounted price, definitely worth a purchase.

I haven't been a fan of baseball video games since Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on the SNES. They've tended to be very time consuming and too difficult anymore. Well, this game brought me back in because it has a Ken Griffey mode akin to the mid-1990s gameplay but with the current game's amazing HD graphics. To me, this is the perfect baseball game and I would highly recommend. The 90s mode is great for the nostalgic older player like me while still having the current gameplay/storylines options for the modern gamer.

I haven’t owned a baseball game since Ken Griffey on Super Nintendo, and this was an incredible advancement in game play. So much fun; I love the feature to increase difficulty depending on how well you play. Grows as you go and lowers when needed; or of course set your own and play at your own pace.

This game is one of the only baseball games available nowadays, and it’s by far the best. The game is great for all baseball lovers, or simply any competitive gamers. There are many different game modes to choose from, and this game just provides the biggest, most complete baseball gaming experience.

Great game, easy intuitive controls for hitting. The pitching controls are a little strange, but the gameplay is fun.

Well, it's my new addiction. I have already logged too many hours to count in the early stages of this game. The Franchise feature is deep and engrossing. If you've played a previous version, this is more of the same with a few minor upgrades and updates. It's worth a purchase.

bought this for a gift. The 10 year old boy loves it. The graphics are pretty amazing looking. He is happy with this game. Can't say much about this game because I don't play sports games but it does have pretty amazing graphics. Keeping the young one satisfied.

Love this game! What is my favorite baseball game of any and as far as I’m concerned the best baseball game on any video game platform ever! There is only two video games I ever cared about playing that are exclusive to PlayStation and this is one of them.

I rented this game and I immediately fell in love with and decided I need to own it. So I purchased it from Best Buy for super cheap and I've been playing for hours. This is by far one of the best baseball games out! I can't wait for The Show 18 to come out.

Best version in the franchise to date, the Show is consistently one of the best sports games put out each year, and the 17 version is no exception. the modes are super deep and there is literally something for everyone (if you are a baseball fan)

I loved this game when it came out bought a playstation because I missed baseball games and this one did not disappoint unfortunately I got a bit burnt out because I played hours a day for like a month or 2 straight but it was still worth it.

The graphics/gameplay have improved 100 fold compared to MLB 16. Smooth no longer grainy display. Absolutely Gem to play. Love the improved Missions and User Friendly appeal of the game. Definitely cannot wait to see what MLB 18 Has To give.

Since Ken Griffey Jr. was my husbands favorite player growing up it was not a hard choice to purchase this game. Now that he has 2 sons of his own who love baseball, they get to share in the fun. Husband and kids all love The Show 17!
