The MLB The Show series of baseball simulation games is a godsent for starved baseball fans. Personally, I made the switch from Xbox to Playstation solely to play this game and it lived up to my lofty expectations. The San Diego team constantly pumps out updates and new content. This game has been perfected over the past bunch of years.

Big fan of this series. Been playing since mlb the show 15 and I buy the new one every year. The game is addicting with many things to do in game. Sometimes I just want to onlinr play for days and other times i want single player offline. Best part of the game is opening packs. Its is a kittle little buggy but what game never has bugs?

Fun game that kids enjoy playing, multiplayer options.

Better than last year, graphics look great. I do wish the Bisons Stadium was accurate though :( Overall great game, very enjoyable but watch for some glitches when the ball passes right through the bat or calls are obviously incorrect based on a player making it to a base in-time. Overall still the best.

The show gets better and better each year. This year they've added a lot of old time greats to the game. I am a big Fred McGriff fan so it is a lot of fun to play as him in the home run derby. The old stadiums are tremendous too. It's great to be back in old yankee stadium even if it is just in a videogame

I really enjoy this game I like the new road to the show leveling system. It makes it more challenging but overall it makes it more realistic to the fact you must do something better to improve. Overall I think it is an upgrade from previous years' models. I recommend it if you liked the series so far.

The show 18 is a solid game for overall good fun. Great graphics and game play. I bought my PS4 because of games like this not on my Xbox. Makes me happy and has all season fun that takes awhile to play and get through. This is what I like a game you don’t finish right away and all season I can play.

MLB the show gets better by the year. This is the only and I mean the only game to get if you want baseball, One feature I love is that you can transfer your data to the newer version. I wish EA would do this to all their sports titles. Highly recommended!

Great use of the MLB license and likenesses. Really enjoyed the game last year. Besides having to purchase in game for cards and credits (which are attainable by playing as well, the game is fun for those who truly love baseball. Can’t stand the fact that the game is console exclusive for PS4 but I guess it does help move some systems. Should be for all consoles so everyone can enjoy.

Listen to me, people. This is the best game of console baseball ever made. There is a ton to like about it. It plays great. But, and I have a big but ... there's nothing significantly upgraded from 2017. Every single year I've bought The Show and there's been reasons that the new version has excited and surprised me. Just not this year.

MLB The Show has always had excellent baseball play. Of course it should, it's a baseball game! The extra layer in this version is the excellent Road to the Show mode. This mode plays like an RPG as you work to optimize your player and make The Show. A lot of fun for all gamers.

The graphics are nice. It's easy to play. You will catch on quick with the controls

I’ve been playing the MLB The Show games since ’14, getting the new ones as they release and ‘18 is a little disappointing. I primarily play RTTS, and this year it is frustrating. You can no longer manually assign points to your players stats, the only way to improve in any area is to be good at it or by choosing training sessions on occasion, and takes way too long. It feels like they’re forcing you to play longer by taking away our choice on where to assign points. This was the first year since I’ve been playing these games that I didn’t get called up from AA to AAA or to the majors in the first minor league season. If they had introduced a different way to choose where points go it wouldn’t be so bad, and the training sessions the game offers were a good idea just executed poorly. I went back to playing ‘17. I can’t speak on the other modes as I don’t play them often enough to judge them, but from what I’ve read by other players not much has changed from earlier years. It’s still a fun game and if you don’t mind the very slow pace in RTTS, or don’t play that mode much, then there’s really no reason not to get it.

I have to say this, I saw where someone gave have this game a 1 star review before it was even released because there wasn't an Astros player on the cover?? Are you kidding me, play the game!!! Still as good a sports sim as there is, great graphics and smooth gameplay, as usual.

This game is awesome. I have not bought an MLB game in years. Waited for this one and was not disappointed. The game is easy to play. Many options for user preference. The graphics are so life like, it's as if you are watching a game on TV. Highly recommended.

Honestly MLB the show continues to be the only reason I own PlayStation. The game is incredible. I love the franchise mode and RTTS, which improve with new features and tweaks for realism every year. Highly recommended for any baseball fan.

Love this game, always play it. But, they need to start focusing on real issues. Franchise has so many things that are just not how things happen in real life. NBA 2k has a way better franchise, a way better single player mode (with story). MLB has these things, but they're not even close to the quality. But, if you like baseball, this is your only option.

This company should make all sports games. They are so detailed with what they do. I can’t recall when they didn’t make a fantastic product. Even if you’re not a diehard baseball fan you can’t help but love playing this game for the sure beauty.

Best baseball video game I have ever played. The last baseball game I bought and continued to play was All Star Baseball 2004. Nothing else ever came close to it until this game came along. I won't be going back to my 15 year old game again!
