This PlayStation exclusive is the reason I purchased a PS4 & with slight improvements to every game mode, 2019 remains a great way to kill some time. A couple additions I am enjoying are the in game challenges & pitcher vs. batter Boss Battles. The presentation is marginally improved, but you will still get some of the aging commentary lines we've heard over previous versions. I haven't played a lot of online play so far, but the time I have were without issue.

Over past seasons game controls have improved. The road to the show is more in-depth and graphics are great!

I bought this game with very high expectations for it. I wasn't disappointed. The graphics are amazing, and the gameplay is smooth. I thought a game with so many options would be difficult to get the hang of. The controls are simple enough, where you can focus on enjoying the game. This is hands down the best baseball game I've ever played!

Love the Road to the show mode. Nothing like it, or as good. Single campaign mode in a sports game. They have changed to way you develope your chareter a bunch since the last version I had (14’) No more points, more about your actions on the field. No guessing pitches.

Caveat - my 13 year old son is the gamer in the house, and he's also a Little League ball player. He's been playing MLB The Show since 2012. He absolutely loves the franchise, and it's one of the few games that has made his "Birthday List" each year. The graphics have of course improved each year, with players easily identifiable in close-up shots. Game play is smooth, and once you've learned the controls, catching fly balls to right field, turning double plays in the infield, or gunning a runner down at home is pretty straightforward. The boy enjoys it, and spends a considerable amount of time on all of the extra features, like drafting players. Hours of fun and by far the most complete baseball game on the market.

The Show is the best baseball game ever made and this year's didn't disappoint. The graphics are great as usual and they added some new elements to Diamond Dynasty. The MVP Steelbook is really sleek too.

Awesome game! Great graphics great game play. I was playing the game the other day and my son saw it and asked me who was winning? He thought that I was watching a baseball game on TV. Completely realistic.

A fun game on PS4 it allows you to participate in the game of baseball from your living room couch. it is need to have all the different side games as well as just being able to connect with your friends from across the world and play a game. Lots of features I have barely even touch yet. If you're a fan of baseball and the series you'll enjoy this game

Gameplay is excellent and realistic, with plenty of options to setup controls and difficulty to your preference. Trying online soon, I hope the experience is as good as single player.

The Show never fails to deliver and the changes made this year are welcomed to new and old players! Diamond Dynasty and Moments to play are great and the gameplay is very polished!

These games become more and more interactive every year. I love the new concepts with road to the show game play. Very similar to the show 2018, but some new added features.

So many great game modes! Play as yourself in a career mode or with your favorite team in franchise mode. Legends are also available for different game modes as well!

MLB THE SHOW Is by far the best Baseball game out to buy. The graphics are awesome and how realistic the game Is to actual real life Is amazing.

The best baseball game keeps getting better. The added rpg elements into RTTS mode are great. The controls are simple but clean and refined.

Coming from the Show 16 for PS3 this game is amazing. Obviously everything has been upgraded. There are new modes, including the best touch where you relive historical milestones. Online modes of Diamond Dynasty or Battle Royale add a ton of replayabiity to a game where playing a full season is plenty. The graphics are fantastic, most players look close to their real life counterpart, card collecting is great, UI has been greatly improved, etc. If you care at all about baseball this is the game for you.

This game was made very well, better graphics and more modes this year! Just wish the pitching camera wasn’t so annoying

This year’s entry is solid, with the exception of fielding. Fielding is awful. Otherwise, it’s a solid baseball game!

But continuing my Road to the Show and the new March to October Mode have won me over. Great graphics and gameplay.

This game can be easy if you set it up that way, but if you want a challenge, it’s there for you. The graphics are gorgeous, the ballparks are realistic, and this is one of the better presented sports games I’ve ever played. I’m about 20 hours into the game and haven’t slowed down, there is a lot of content here and you can play this game for a while. You can also pick up and play a quick game and be done for the day. Really glad I bought this game.

Good upgrades from last years edition. Faster game play to boot and transferable career mode from past versions.
