If you love baseball and you have any affinity for gaming, you don't have any other choices but The Show. There frankly isn't anything that is comparable, and even if another game appears on the market it will be hard to compete with something as well established as The Show. There are a variety of game modes to choose from; the only reason I would not recommend picking up this game is if you have the 18' version. In that particular situation you are basically paying for roster updates.

This game just keeps getting better. The enhanced controls as well as the more in-depth road to the show mode. Amazing.

The play is very cool and realistic. It takes a little getting used to the pitching and hitting.

Not a huge baseball fan but wanted to try a new game. Graphics amazing, alot going on. If baseball is not your first sport one can get lost if unfamiliar with the league. Overall good game. Seems pretty realistic.

MLB 19 The Show continues its run as arguably the most visually impressive sports sim on the market today, you won't find a better looking game out there, in my opinion. Added bonus as a Philadelphian is having Bryce Harper on the cover( take that Nationals, LOL!!!) All kidding aside great game, great gameplay, go pick it up!

If you're a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed. The incremental improvements are not plentiful, but the game was already good. Graphics are improved as well as an improved RPG-lite character builder for Road to the Show. Other improvements like being able to extend player contracts before they expire are nice as well. The game is still missing a stadium creator and I would like to see the "lite" removed from the RPG aspect of RTTS. That being said, this is still my favorite console game franchise, let alone sports game franchise.

My son LOVES baseball. He waits every year for the new MLB game to be released. This year was especially exciting, as he is a HUGE Philly fan. Him and his friends stage World Series games against one another and have brackets for their “tournaments”. This is a must have for anyone who loves baseball. The graphics are amazing and the play is clean!
