This game is awesome and great for all levels of skill. The easy mode really teaches you how to play and the hard mode is super difficult. Franchise mode is awesome and the animations and graphics are good too. The soundtrack sticks out and it's fun to edit your franchise's use of music during games. That's a great attention to detail by the game desires. This is probably the best sports game out there right now and easily the best baseball game, maybe ever.

As a lifelong baseball fan and with the PS5 being my first PlayStation, this was a no-brainer buy for me. I can't personally compare it to previous versions but it's an awesome game that any fan would enjoy. A ton of different game modes and ways to control the flow of games with the controller. Graphics are really nice as well, and can't wait for the PS5 Show 21 when the gameplay is next-gen.

It was good to be back playing sports games on PS4. It has been a long time since I have played an MLB The Show and from what I can see in this edition, it was nice game play and loving the updated rosters despite there is not a 2020 season yet. Am hoping they improve on things in the next version but need to play for a while to see where I stand.

Best MLB game on the market. Unlike Madden which has practically nothing new year after year. The game play and graphics get better and better every year on MLB The Show. I'm 45 yrs old and have been playing baseball games since I was a kid. It doesn't get any better than this. Well at least not until the PS5 comes out.

Another solid installment for the best baseball franchise on PS4. Graphics are great even for being at the end of the PS4 console generation. Gameplay is fun and the replay value of this game is very high with Diamond Dynasty, Franchise Mode, Home Run Derby and other game modes. The only thing stopping me from giving this game 5-stars is that we are at the end of the current console generation and this game has reached the limit of the PS4 system.

The Show has always been a good baseball game. And as of the last few years it's really the only option. Regardless it's a good game. It has a ton of game modes to keep it interesting. It's also the only baseball fix we have right now.

This is the only baseball game worth buying and it is always quality. Good graphics and mechanics. The only thing bad I can say that it’s hard to hit and also there is a little bit of a pay to win element in some online modes.

The definitive experience at a great price. The last MLB game that I purchased was MLB The Show 17 and I could not imagine a baseball game with better graphics....I was wrong. This is the new king of graphics.
