Honestly, I was expecting a lot more - Sony is supposed to have the sweet science of baseball perfected, refined, and condensed into disc form because they’ve been doing it for so long. First the good - it sounds and looks excellent. Pitching is superb, as is hitting. Unfortunately fielding is like trying to get a large animal to do something it doesn’t want to - when the camera snaps around on a hit, fielding crucial plays are often botched by piggish controls, and setting everything to “automatic” makes it feel hollow. The bigger problem is that, no matter what, the AI always seems to put together that crucial hit, and they *never* miss a throw. I’m really glad this was on Game Pass and I didn’t shell out full price for the first MLB game on Xbox... because honestly, I don’t feel like I’ve been missing too much.

Love these games but at one point I would need to stop cause every year it’s the same thing but just new roster.

MLB the show is the game for all baseball lovers. This is the only baseball game to get for either PS5 or Xbox X. Gameplay is good and very realistic.

Great playing online with others. Able to set skill level and progress. Kids don’t play it much… to hard for them.

Great game. My son and I do the Homerun Derby and it is so much fun to do online and in older stadiums with older players.

Graphics are pretty good, expected a better upgrade than we got considering the power of PS5. Game feels rushed. Online play is a mess right now. Sadly the worst mlb show imo as of right now

This game is the truth, me and my son have nightly battles in the game and keep count on who is winning the series for the week.

My son in law loves playing on his PlayStation 5 the MLB will be a great addition to his game collection.

Pretty good game. No major changes to feel and graphics. Mostly purchased for tatís jr being on the cover. Biased Padres fan here. I’d recommend to buy if it’s been a few years since you bought a version of this game.

Great Game. Going to be tough to set up for beginners. This my 4th year buying the show and it took a little playing around with to make it where you can actually make contact with the ball. My 7yr old loves it

Fun baseball game so far. I have only played Road to the Show. The game does require 60GBs download upon initial use.

I tend to skip a year or 2 in between The Show franchises. This year I picked it up thinking well, PS5 experience maybe? But, No. The Show 21 to me lacked that wow factor considering the PS5 potential. It seems more of a slight port from the PS4 version with everything still looking more or less like The Show 20 gameplay. I expected maybe some Roberto Clemente love considering its "21" but just not what I expected. It's an ok game just not what I expected. Maybe The Show 22?

My son loves it, more details and better gaming options. He is a baseball freak anyway and this is perfect for him.

First MLB game in quite a while (Maybe 16 years).was able to get a PS5 and wanted to get back into baseball again. As repetitive as it is, I’m still enjoying it and have about 50 hours into it.
