The Wi-Fi pairing continuously dropped causing me to have to reset the camera at least once every two weeks. I finally gave up and it’s now a paperweight.

Great monitor for parent with Alzheimers

This makes that easy to do. The ability to watch, listen and speak is a plus. Nighttime infrared is excellent as well.

During that time it often had connection issues that wouldnt let you see the video feed, other than that it worked fine. Now it is completely dead somehow. Will be buying a different brand this time.

He will also be having surgery in late November, so will definitely need to monitor him.

Now after having even more problems getting them to pair . They no longer want to pan the area of where I have them. Plus I’ve had three of them just totally pixelate and had to be replaced. Your call but I would not recommend these cameras . Total junk and I’m now out $800.00

It uses the wifi, and would go "offline" with regularity, and then have to be reset. This was not convenient in the middle of the night, or any other time. We took it back and ended up using a ring doorbell.

When the device goes offline after connecting initially is usually because it has lost its connection to the WiFi network. If your router is dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz), we recommend having the router split where each network is uniquely named and has its own password. This will prevent the incompatible network from emitting charge over the compatible one which results in the devices inability to connect to the WiFi network it needs.
