Posted .Hello Cody, thank you for reaching out. The MobiCam requires a connection with your router/ 2.4G network in order to operate as designed. This being the case, if you have the MobiCam in an area that produces a reception/connection percentage below 90% you will begin to start losing quality in both audio and video. When this occurs we recommend placing the MobiCam in an area with a reception of at least 90% to ensure that you have the highest potential of video and audio quality. If your device is reading 90% or better reception and it's still producing poor video or audio quality please feel free to contact our Support Team at (323) 904-3000. I am connected to a 2.4 router, and it still won’t connect. My other baby monitor connected to the app utilizing a QR code you show the camera. These piece of junk cameras connect via sound. I have TWO cameras that I bought on Black Friday. Neither of them connect. The reset button doesn’t even work on these. They’re junk. Even App Store reviews talk about how awful the connection is with this. Going to Best Buy to return TONIGHT

The Micro SD card is not included with the purchase of any of our MobiCam devices. The device doesn't require the Micro SD card to operate. However, you must have either the Micro SD card or a subscription to Cloud Storage to have the ability to record content and play it back.
