Posted .Hello Daniel, thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you are experiencing difficulty with the MobiCam. When the MobiCam falls "offline" it has lost its connection to the WiFi. This could be for a number of reasons. The most common are dual-band issues and things like weather. However, with dual-band routers, this can be controlled. If you have a dual-band router (2.4G and 5G), we recommend splitting the router where each network is uniquely named and has its own password. This will prevent the potential of the incompatible network emitting charge over the compatible network causing interference in the connections of the device.

Posted .Hello Colleen, thank you for reaching out. When pairing the MobiCam to your WiFi, you first want to ensure you are pairing it to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If the router is dual-band (2G & 5G), we recommend having the router split where each network is uniquely named and has its own password to access it. This will prevent the potential of one network emitting charge over another which as result will interfere in the connection of a device or interferes in the stability of connected devices, basically knocking it offline.

Worst camera ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst camera ever! Constantly switches from normal to night mode, even when its still bright! 2 way audio sucks! When u want to speak from your phone to the camera, the speaker cuts out and u cant hear the other side until u turn off the talk button on the app! This is also acting up not showing static, like old school tv antena type! You're better off buying a generic camera on amazon

Posted .Hello and thank you for reaching out. We apologize that the MobiCam is not operating as intended. Please follow these steps to reset your night vision sensor (or IR sensor):
In a brightly lit room or daylight, gently cover the night vision sensor (found above the camera lens) until you hear it 'click' to night mode.
Uncover and let it 'click' back to daylight mode.
Repeat this process 5 times.

Posted .Hello and thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you experienced difficulty with the MobiCam. With devices that require WiFi, and depending on the reception or strength of the WiFi in certain parts of the residence you do run the potential to have lag or picture distortion if there is a weak connection. In these cases, we recommend stationing the camera in a position where its connection is strongest. However, if you have a good signal and the MobiCam is still producing poor video/audio quality please feel free to submit a ticket to our 24-hour Support Desk at https://mobiusa.com/pages/contact-us

Posted .Hello Jackelin, thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you are experiencing poor audio quality. We will be happy to assist with this. When you select the "Settings" (pencil icon with a line underneath in the top right-hand corner) then select "Sounds" you can adjust the volume on the device. Also the volume of your mobile device will assist this too. As for the motion detection you can adjust the sensitivity levels for that as well by selecting "Detection alarm Settings".

You Get What You Pay For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It claims it will accommodate split/dual routers. I have an Apple Time Capsule with 2.4 and 5.0 MHz ability, but the MOBI times out and could not connect. I even turned off the 5.0 MHz option. No Deal after several attempts. At $29.99 - You get what you pay for...I'm returning it tomorrow.

Posted .Hello Rich, thanks for reaching out. We regret that the MobiCam HDX is not operating as intended. With Dual band routers, though it has the ability of both 2.4GHz and 5.0Ghz sometimes the dual-band router may be emitting a 5G signal, instead of emitting a 2G connection.
All standard dual band routers will randomly emit either a 2G or 5G connection based on factors that one does not control, and there is always a chance that one will get either a 2G or a 5G connection that can cause the device to not be able to pair. To solve this, simply separate your 2G Wi-Fi and your 5G Wi-Fi connection and give them each a unique name so that you can differentiate between the two during the setup process.

Posted .Hello Luis, Thank you for reaching out. We will be happy to assist with this. To begin, ensure that you are pairing the device with a 2.4GHz WiFi network and that your mobile device is connected to the same network during the pairing process. NOTE** The MobiCam is ONLY compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network, so if you have a dual-band router that is both 2G and 5G and there is only one WiFi name and password or there are two names and passwords but they are either the same or very similar in identity, we recommend splitting the router. This is where each network (2G/5G) is "uniquely" named and has its own password. This will allow each network to operate without interference. Once done, you can follow the steps in the MOBI App to pair your device. If you continue to have issues, feel free to reach out to our 24-hour Support Desk at  https://mobiusa.com/pages/contact-us.

Terrible Camera. Night vision on 24/7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camera clicks on and off night vision about a 1000 times a day. The night vision has no way to turn off. Stays on all day. Bestbuy gave me terrible return window. Had my baby and took it out of box and keeps baby up all night. Not satisfied at all. Junk.

Posted .Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about the problem you experienced with the device. The MobiCam monitoring cameras will click when the lighting in the room changes and night vision turns on/off. If the devices are constantly clicking more than the necessary times, then the device might be confused about the lighting in the room and the night vision IR sensor needs to be reset.
Please follow these steps to resent your night vision sensor (or IR sensor):
In a brightly lit room or daylight, gently cover the night vision sensor (found above the camera lens) until you hear it 'click' to night mode.
Uncover and let it 'click' back to daylight mode.
Repeat this process 5 times.
We hope this helps!
