By your description of the issue you're experiencing, we recommend running a speed test on your WiFi. To do so open up the browser on your mobile device while connected to wifi and in the search bar, typing in "WiFi Speed Test." This will take you to the Google speed test, and you should see a blue button that reads "Run Speed Test." Tap this button and allow the test to run. It should take no more than 1 minute. It will provide you with an Upload and Download speed.

    Terrible disconnection and only runs on 2.5 Wi-Fi.

      Hello Greg, thank you for reaching out to us. The MobiCam is only compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you are experiencing poor picture quality or sound quality, we recommend running a speed test on your WiFi. You can run a wifi speed test by opening up the browser on your mobile device while connected to wifi and in the search bar, typing in "WiFi Speed Test." This will take you to the Google speed test, and you should see a blue button that reads "Run Speed Test." Tap this button and allow the test to run. It should take no more than 1 minute. It will provide you with an Upload and Download speed. It would help us greatly if you could please share a screenshot of the speed test results. For the best quality, we strongly recommend having a 40mbps download speed to ensure flawless use, as our cameras offer HD live streaming. Our cameras will function on as little as 20mbps download speed with some delays in audio and video.

    These are good cameras for indoor only ,but I’ve had three of them outside under the eaves on the house for 2 to 3 years now with no problems . five inside pointing outside ,some connection problems. just reset and keep on going, but for the price you can’t go wrong as long as your Internet is going.

    Would not connect no matter what I tried and ended up messing up my wifi. Had to return. Bought the indoor ring stick camera to replace which I should have done to begin with.

      Hello Hope, thank you for reaching out. We regret that you were not able to pair the MobiCam with your Wi-Fi. Our MobiCams are compatible with a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network, and if the router is dual-band, we recommend having the router split where each network is named uniquely different and each network has its own password. This will prevent the potential of one network emitting charge over the other which in result prevents the device from formally connecting to its compatible network.

    We bought this so that we can keep an eye and ear on my mother in law at night time, when we are sleeping. She is lives with us and has Dementia. The video works great but the sound is filled with static. As a esult, we cannot leave the sound on and have to wake up periodically throughout the night to look at the monitor.

      Hello, Thank you for reaching out. We apologize that the MobiCam is producing poor audio quality. This could be from one of two things. Either the device has something going on or the reception of the WiFi to the device could be weakened. The MOBI App will let you know what the reception percentage is. Anything below 80% will begin to have either picture quality issues or audio quality issues. When this is the case we recommend setting the MobiCam in an area where the reception is stronger.     I was surprised by how well this camera worked. Based on the price point, I expected a typical, low-resolution baby monitor that I could use now and then to keep an eye on my toddler. Instead, I was treated to a pleasant little camera with a very clear display and a ton of nifty options. I had a little trouble setting it up at first but got through it after realizing I was doing something wrong. I recommend it to anyone looking for a wifi camera that doesn't break the bank.

    Nice to have access through phone to see monitor. But only issue is hard to get screen to move slightly upon moving often out of range, too sensitive. Otherwise great

    This was an awesome monitor when we first got it, 5 months after we bought it it started flickering so we moved it, didn’t help. I looked into the camera the red lights flickering which is causing the flashing. Terrible monitor now! And the app keeps crashing now. I would not buy again.

    Bought to monitor new rescue dog when I’m not home. Very disappointed. Long delay in showing motion. Feedback is terrible if you try to use speaker to talk. Very loud screechy sound. I would not recommend.

    Awful camera. Does not work for long. Not an easy set up if your modem is not set at 2.4. Never used the camera. Complete waste of money

To begin, ensure that you are pairing the device with a 2.4GHz WiFi network and that your mobile device is connected to the same network during the pairing process. NOTE** The MobiCam is ONLY compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network, so if you have a dual-band router that is both 2G and 5G and there is only one WiFi name and password or there are two names and passwords but they are either the same or very similar in identity, we recommend splitting the router. This is where each network (2G/5G) is "uniquely" named and has its own password. This will allow each network to operate without interference.
