I bought the sensor to alert me if the drain from a garage ceiling mount heat pump air handler has clogged and is overflowing into the pan beneath the air handler. I have an Arris combination modem and router that broadcasts on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz so I was unable to connect using the the MOBI app. After numerous failed attempts I downloaded and connected to the Smart Life app under an "other sensor". I placed my sensor and phone about 30 feet from the modem/router and was able to complete the install of what was identified as a Flood Sensor. I would have rated it a 5 had I been able to connect using the MOBI app.

It works as advertised. No complaints after testing on wifi and celluar.

Works great when using it for a hot water tank that you put a pan underneath the tank. My drain was to far away from the tank, so had to put this pan and sensor under the tank. Must make sure to put some cardboard under the pins. If not this will continue to go off because of metal on metal.

This popped up on sale, I didn't go looking nor was this my first choice. It seemed very reasonable and I found out why. I needed 5 of these products to protect numerous residences that I have & quickly. After receiving the units, I had difficulty making the first connection of 5, I purchased and yes I understand the split system but we only use 2.4. That being said, the quality is not what I expected. I also found the batteries supplied were too weak to connect the balance of them. I wasted a great deal of time doing this which is costly. I also found the batteries only work for 6 weeks, not helpful at all I made a mistake with this purchase and want something much better, to count on and doesn't have WI-FI issues that lasts, better connection and so on. I tried to return, Best Buy will not let me return them because it is past 30 days. lets see if you can help me considering the price also went down in the 30 days I purchased them

Excellent gaget to monitor water intrusion!! Had a sump pump fail, so hopefully will not get water in the basement again.

This alarm functions as it should. Helps to keep the basement dry and let's me know.if one of the pumps fail.

Device quality is good but Sound when contacts with water is very low App won’t give any alert and its a simple notification which wont alert customer.

I was unable to get these to connect to Wi-Fi. I went through all the instructions and troubleshooting including manually connecting to the devices and separating out the 2.4 G Wi-Fi band with no luck. Returned these to Best Buy. FYI, I am an IT professional who has set up network and Wi-Fi devices on many different networks. My home Wi-Fi supports multiple IOT devices including smart home devices with no difficulty. I am using the most current Asus mesh Wi-Fi device with most current firmware.

Easy to use and easy to set up, It works just the way is suppose to, I set it up at the sum pump area, It sends you warning to your smart phone with beep.

The product was as very easy to install. I tried several that wanted me to change my WIFI and other settings.
