In my snarl of cables, I finally have one that looks different. My second son loaned me an external battery because my previous phone had a dying internal one. My older son liberated the cable I used to recharge the battery. This beauty allows me to recharge the charger.

I've tried other cords and my phone would not charge but with the modal cords I've not had a problem. I own 8. One of the cheaper ones to the more expensive one. They all work really great. Thank you modal for a great product and thanks best buy for carrying great products I

I've never owned a fabric wrapped cable before but I didn't think it mattered. It's a micro sub cable, how different can the be? Well, maybe it matters. The cable works great but just inside six months it started to fray and now the cable is fully visible for about 1 cm in length. I don't know if it's a flawed design or because I travel for work I'm too hard on my cables. I seem to replace them frequently. Overall good average cable.

So far it's the longest lasting charger I have bought. I got it for my 6 yr old to charge all his electronics and it gets the job done fast.

Seemed to function perfectly however, the evil black lab puppy has since eaten it. Will check it's durability in a couple days.

Well, I was. I have been through so many charger cables over the years. I said there has to be better cables out there, that can keep up with my lifestyle. I work with animals, so its either chewing, stepping on, tug of war, wet, mud, something always found a way to destroy my charger cables. These are not nearly as delicate as other cables. It charges fast for high performance phones that require those types of chargers, the braided line is a lot tougher than the slick white plastic from the past and non-white seems to be less attractive to animals chewing on them. I bought two of these cables after the first one. one for the truck and one for home. The extra length is very handy, unlike the shorter ones. I've had these two cables for almost a year with zero problems which is a huge record. You can charge them anywhere that accepts USB. If you get a charging block for the wall outlet make sure it can work with this cable . Fast charger block is what I call them. Its light weight, hard to tangle, charges fast, super tough, the charger end is tough. But like any charger made you cant go yanking on it while its plugged up. Its long enough so you shouldn't have to. do your self a favor and get one along with an otter box and screen saver..You will be glad you did

This is the first time I've used a cord of this type. I was desperate to find something more durable than the standard cord that came with my galaxy. a replacement Samsung was too pricey for me to pay for, only to fid it break and the wires wear out again. so, this was an an affordable, more durable alternative that a Best Buy employee told me about. the generic alternative would break with the same results as the factory cord. So fatr this cord has worked well, but the plug in part can bend easily, the cord does not get twisted or tangled, it should be bit more durable, but so far no complaints, The cord travels with me. on trips. to work, etc. and now I have a little bending on the plug end, but it still works, I like it. wish it was priced at fifteen dollars and not twenty. Cord length is decent as well.

I needed a flexible, quality cable for my Android phone and chose the braided cable over a flat version at the recommendation of the Best Buy Associate. So far I've been pleased with the quality of the cable. It still works! I use it for charging my phone with a portable charger when traveling, which is a bit tougher on cables. I gave it a 4 vs a 5 since I've only had it a couple of months. If it lasts 6 months or more, I'll give it a 5. I have not had good luck with cables lasting longer than that.

I have been an android user for years. Every phone I've had comes with the standard cable, which breaks. I'v'e sent cables back to the manufacturer and had them replaced. None last for too long. This braided cable cord is great. There is no sign of wear. I can use it and bend it and I've had no problems. It's also easier to travel with. I wrap it around my tablet (or phone) and it stays in place because it is braided cable. I love it and I am going to purchase more and toss all my old cables.

C'mon let's face, its just a cord, right? Well, yes and no. It is just a cord that works when it's supposed to but the quality of this cord makes it more than just a cord to me. You can feel the quality when you first take it out of the package. Its thicker and the braiding aspect lends to it's durability. I've had this cord all over, in many different environments and it works great!

The wires on any and all of my charging devices always end up bent/pinched, and then break. I got my first braided cable on a whim and have since made it standard to buy them for all my electronics when I can find them, because they work fantastically. I purchased this one specifically for my car charger & I haven't had any issues -it works like a charm. Plus, the braided cables can be wrapped or adjusted to however you need it & they don't lose the form you put them in.

I purchased this as an extra charging cable for my second vehicle. I like the fact that its not rubber like most other cables. This one seems to be reinforced with some type of braided textile material. Seems pretty solid. Ive only had it for a couple of months. I expect it to out last all the other ones. The connectors are high quality as well. I dont know that id pay $19.99 for it though. I received a coupon for it and got it for a steal.

I (for some reason) find that most of my charge/sync cords break and fray after continued use and wrapping. This cord however seems to stand up to the wear and tear of being wrapped or bent in different positions. It also charges my phone almost as fast as the HTC branded cord that came with my phone, and stays connected to both the phone, and the wall charger/usb port that it is plugged into. All in all a very good cord for the price.

I am a college student on a budget. I change usb constantly because they all seem to just lack quality. This one is game changer. i use this usb at home, in the car, to charge my phone, my wireless head phone, my ps4 controller and just about everything. it secure itself we well when plugged in to the divces it is charging and it is made of durable material that is surpassing my expectations.

One of my disappointments with mobile phone manufacturers is that they provide inferior power cords with their phones. As a result they quickly lose their ability to charge my mobile devices. Recently, I purchased the above cord. It is much more durable and provides an explicit 'click' when it is connected to any of my mobile devices. Although more costly it is worth the money.

I bought this because there is never enough cell phone charging cables around the house with a family full of smart phones and blue tooth devices, I picked this one up on special, and it hasn't disappointed, it has a nice fabric cover on it, it's not flimsy, and the connections on each side are nice and snug, it is a well built cable that I hope lasts a long time ; ,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and had it for 2 years. The original charger cord finally died on me recently and I was looking for a replacement charger but saw this cord and figured why not. Well once it got here I hooked it up to the original wall plug and it worked perfect! Still had fast charge as well. If anyone just needs a cord I highly recommend this product!

This Braided Micro USB Cable does a much better job at charging my phone than the original cable that came with the phone. It fast charges 100% of the time and doesn't get tangled or twisted. Design feels much superior than the standard Samsung charge/sync cables which are some of the thinnest OEM cables I've ever dealt with in my time with smart phones.

I bought this for my car and was worried since many micro USB that I've used do the "charge, no charge, charge no charge" thing on my android phone (Samsung S7 edge, but had the same issue with my Note 2). So far it has worked great and the length has allowed me to place my phone it the holder I bought where I want to and not just next to the USB outlet.

This is a great multi use micro USB charging cable. The cord outer material feels sturdy, heavy duty and high quality. I have used it with several different devices from different manufacturers and there appears to be no difference in performance. I use it and a similar type aftermarket lightening cable as my generic travel cables for all my devices when I am on the road.
