This is a nice cable (charges as it should) and the blue lighted cable is sweet, but I am torn, as I am not sure that even the sale price of $18 is warranted. At under $15 I would have been much more satisfied. Since this was a recent purchase the jury is still out on durability and reliability. If the price works for you, then go for it.

As many have said, these little light up charger wires are soo cool. Not any better than a standard cheapo micro usb. But for the light show it’s 100% worth it. Got one for my wife and one for me. We love it. And it works as it should. Get on sale tho. Retail is a bit high.

This works good. The product said it was approved for use with iPhones and so far my phone appears to be charging just fine with it and it recognizes the plug. I am on an iPhone 7 plus. The light effects on the cord are pretty cool. However, the cord itself is a bit short for me and is much thicker than an official Apple cord so therefore doesn't store as easily.

I've had other cords that lasted 6 months to a year but this one is still going strong. The lighted cord is fun to watch as your phone charges. Lighted "strings" flow along down the cord to your phone and the lighted "strings" slow when your phone is done charging.

In case you missed it somehow, this thing lights up. You can see power moving into your device. When it's charged, the lights stop. It doesn't get any easier than that to see if your stuff is charged. The cable seems solid, too, like it might even last longer than Apple's "self destruct" cables that show their wiring all too soon.

Had to plug into a wall adapter to get lights to work. It does the job. It will charge connected to unpowered hub or keyboard but won't light up unless it's in a powered hub/power strip with usb or wall adapter. That why it needs to be offered in longer lengths.

got it as part of deal of the day. this cables comes in handy. the lighting effect really has a cool effect. I have it connected to a wireless phone charger. when I place my phone on the charger the cable lights up. it adds some special effect to my desk view.

GREAT charger for my iphone 5s and 6+. It lights up as it charges. Then the light shuts off when the phone is fully charged. Only bad thing is when you charge your phone while you are out and about. The blue light does bring attention, especially at night. Otherwise I love it!

This charging cable lights up as it charges your iPhone. The lights move depending on how much charge your phone has. The less charge it has, the faster the lights move. The more charge it has, the slower the lights move. When the charging is complete, the lights stop and shut off. Cool product.

So far, so good! The cable does what it is intended to do, and the lighted cable is an interesting effect. Haven't used it while driving at night, so I'm not sure how annoying that would be, but it's not very bright, so I doubt it will be a major distraction. I like the color option.

It works, and looks neat while doing so. It could be distracting if you're using your device while charging it though. I think it's best for something you're just waiting to charge and you could see when it's done because the lights stop.

This charger works well and very cool with the lights. It’s actually very bright and the lights flash, so it’s a bit annoying if you like to charge near where you sleep at night. It’s also a tad short but other than that, it’s fun and serves its purpose.

When I bought it, I didn't realize that the cord has a traveling light within the cord when plugged in but it is a fun addition to the product. The short 3 foot cord is perfect for my car charging process. I leave it in the car and no longer have to remember to take a charging cord with me.

Although they are only 3’ long, these Modal charging cords are the only kind I will purchase. The lighted cord not only tells me it’s charging, but it also tells me how close the charge is to being completed. I just wish they came in more than one length and multiple colors.

We bought this cord for our disabled son , so he could easily see when his phone was done charging !! The cord lights up while charging and turns off when done charging !! What a great feature !! Helped our son to know when his phone was fully charged !!

This is a cool charger if you want to make things more interesting when you’re charging your phone. You’ll definitely turn some heads with this product and will have people asking you where you got it from. Aside from that it does it’s job at charging your phone pretty well.

The charger looks very nice, great length, couldn’t wait to get started using it however it was not for use for an Apple product as I thought but for an Android phone or electronics. Had to return it but sure that it was going to be great for Android electronics.

Well, the charging process is ... "colorful". As a charging cable, however, it gets the job done. I went with this cord because there was no other option for USB to Micro USB. I could personally do without the funky color cycling when using the cord to charge, but hey - my young children love it!

I got tired of cables breaker--you know the "sale" types...so I invested in this one and to my surprise had I purchased it first, I would not be out of pocket on the replacements -- I admit I purchased the others because they cost less to start..but cost much more when replacing them multiple times...

I mainly use this charging cable on the go, but boy does it catch everyone's attention! That's a good thing cause the way this thing lights up, it's one way to start a conversation. Does it's job good enough and the last cable I had like this lasted for about 2 years. This one ought to do the same. It's been good so far.
