This wire is most definitely an upgrade to the typical wire supplied by Apple. It's about a foot longer, is brightly colored (so its easy to find amongst other wires), and has a bit of grip near its base so it can be wrapped around itself or something else if needed. If I ever need a new wire, I will definitely repurchase this.

The little extra length in this 4 ft. cord (instead of the usual 3ft) makes a BIG difference! Especially at night when it is charging by the bed, that extra 1ft allows me to actually use my phone in the dark if necessary yet keep it plugged in so that I am not turning on the lamp to hunt for or reconnect the charging cord.

I'm not a guru for gadgets. I am direct and to the point gal so this charger works for me. It does not take up much space. You can wrap it together when you are done using it. It seems to be pretty durable as in comparison to some cheaper ones I've had. So maybe this one will last longer.

Bought this for my son cause he wanted a longer cable for his phone. It's very durable and he can tie it up and it doesn't tangle. Charges great just the same as the apple oringal cable.

I am very excited about this purchase. I am elated I do not have to be concerned about the cord twisting and breaking at the post. This was the best buy for my money. I also love the two tone colors that were available at the time of purchase. I highly recommend this phone charger! Best deal ever!

Needed a new charge cord for our daughters iPhone that didn't keep breaking at the plug. This one with the extra wrap on the end is a big plus. So far so good with no breaks or cracks...no nothing whatsoever! Great cord for the money and seems to hold up very well with teenage use.

This cable is good for charging your apple products. It will charge your product without the accessory not working error message. The cable charged your item within a good time period. It makes for a good replacement for the cable that comes with your apple product.

This charger is fun and easy to pack away. I bought 2 and 1 broke very fast but the other I have no issue with. I guess if you pick the right one at time of purchase you will be happy... If not keep the package and Best Buy will let you trade out for a new one.

this is a replacement cord for recharging my smartphone. It works perfectly. The best part of the experience was the salesperson who steered me to the right product for my phone and gave me some other hints about getting good service with other attachments and so forth.

I love this cord because it's a fun and colorful cord. People always ask me where I got it from. It's in my backpack and I use it when I charge the phone outside the car or house. I would definitely recommend this cord. It charges all my iOS devices that use lightning.

This cable is great and just what I needed. When I got a new car with USB ports, I realized I needed a second lightning cable for my iPhone. This one is sturdy and works well, even when using the phone as part of Apple Car Play.

I like the cord, it works great. I was just hoping the thicker part of the cord (where it looks twisted) was on both end. The end that plugs into the phone, the cable broke open on my standard cord. So I was hoping this would have been more sturdy.

Got caught in a jam and needed a car charging cord. My wife found this one and while I believe you can get something that will work for less money, she likes the color, the length and durability so it was well worth the spontaneous purchase.

Works perfectly. The "spring" coil gives this a much appreciated durability upgrade over other cables, which my wife sorely needed. This cable has lasted longer than most others we've purchased. Color is awful, but she likes it.

Bought this to replace my original charger cord which split. This one seems much sturdier and the wire covering is much heavier. The USB end has a double covering for extra strength. Looks like it will last much longer than the original.

My teenage son loved this USB cord as a replacement to the standard issued one by Apple with any of their products. It is thicker, longer, & more stable than the standard issue Apple one. Plus the different colors are nice too.

I had this charger for about a few weeks now, and it's very sturdy so far. The only downside is that there isn't a protector for the lightning port side of the cable, but other than that it's a good product.

Have several of these at home. Bought them for my kids who are always damaging their chargers when pushed up against their beds or night stands. They last longer and the wires don't expose as easily as traditional usb chargers.
