This is the best backpack I've ever owned .. It literally has a compartment for everything you need if you travel with electronics .. And it has diagrams sewn on so you know what goes where .. There's so many compartments for so many things and yet it stays slim and comfortable .. Buy it

Despite being called the "Modal epic backpack" and being nearly epic in size, true to its description the laptop compartment only holds laptops up to 15.6". And that's not to say I didn't try to fit my 17.3" screen laptop into it, it just won't fit in the padded laptop compartment, which is narrower and significantly shorter than the backpack itself. My laptop will fit in at least two of the other pockets in the backpack, and the true reason why I bought it is because the backpack will fit my Corsair K95 with room to spare, before unzipping the bottom and extending the middle compartment. It's truly impressive what you get for the money, with that one nag that the padded laptop compartment won't fit 17" or larger laptops (while the bag itself is certainly large enough to carry them with ease).

Purchased to carry underwater video equipment on SCUBA diving trips. Rugged enough to make it all over the Ucatan traveling buy air, bus, shuttles, ferry, and on foot. Inside foil pouch keeps cervasia cool, side mesh pockets hold large water bottles, at a destination touring local shorelines for snorkeling this bag can hold mask, fins, camera gear for two people (fins sticking out the top and strapped to take pressure off the zipper ) and becomes our "beach bag" for day trips. The bottom holds up well to abrasion in travel. Comfortable to carry even with a 10-15 lb. load. Keeps everything needed like maps/docs. in separate compartments easy to find. Great value for all the miles and abuse so far.

I actually bought this backpack with another one. I couldn't decide and loved each feature of both. I love the look and the different compartment separations. The feature I loved was the bottom pocket were I could put extra footwear and clothes. It came in very handy when walking around for hours in other country. The depth and just overall space made it as luggage material for me as I could hold a decent amount. It is perfect if you want to use it for work, school or traveling.

This bag is just right for what I need it to do carry a lap top in a well protected space, some tools and spare clothes. my favorite thing about this bag is the expanding bottom. My least favorite thing is that the zipper pulls were all falling off so I put some black electrical tape around all zipper pulls and solved the problem.

I actually purchased this for my youngest who is in middle school. It was worked out great. This backpack is durable, made of great quality, and offers a generous amount of space. My student was suffering before with a smaller backpack, and this backpack was an excellent solution! I am very happy with this bag; plus we got it on sale at Best Buy for a great price.

I bought this for my son to take to college to carry & protect his new laptop. It is great! Lots of padding, lots of pockets! And a waterproof liner...in case he gets caught in the rain. Would buy again!

First impression was this backpack is big and has plenty of room to hold your laptop, tablet and much more! I like the fact there is a special compartment to keep your shoes or gym clothes in. Also inside is a section where you can keep your food or snacks in and maintain it's temperature! That was an extra bonus to have!

get for the gym, separate compartments for shoes, gym clothes, phone & wallet. i bought another for my husband who also uses it for traveling. separate area for iPad/computer. also seems very well made. and comfortable to carry - highly recommend

Initially when I saw the bag in person I thought the bag looked too big. Once though trying it on and using it I'm happy about its size. It has a compartment for everything and the best part is that its water proof. I was wearing the bag outside during the snow and never had to worry.

I use this for my books and laptop for school and a change of clothes for work since I go in the afternoon. The bottom compartment does share space with the second compartment which I use for my binders, but it doesn't get in the way if all you have is a pair of pants and a shirt.

This is a really great bag to have especially if you own a notebook. It's spacious and it has many great features like thermal pocket. Most importantly, its extremely durable and waterproof. A definite must have.

It's made with premium materials, really strong, great padding for my laptop and it has a thermal layer in the front pocket to keep food warm or cold. It's perfect ha use I can bring my lunches to work

Got this backpack on sale online on Best Buy. Really happy with the quality and space it offers. It also feels nice to wear especially when you use it for long periods of time.
