I like the slick look of the case, it's simple. A bit hard to put on since the interior part of the case is not glued together with the outer shell and made of rubber. When you put the phone in, the rubber gets pulled in with the phone. I have to take the case off to use the fast charge wireless charger or have the phone position just right. The case comes up to the edge, and protects all sides. The back is not slip proof so it does slide around if you have it on your lap or a smooth surface while. It is slim and not bulky. Rubber buttons on the side work well. I've only had it for a month so it's still in good condition and has held up.

Never dealt with the Modal brand of case until I bought the Note 8. Honestly, I was a little bit leery about trusting such a flimsy looking case to an expensive phone. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Protects well from drops and falls; not that I make it a habit of dropping my phone, but accidents happen. The fit is really good too. If I have one complaint, it's a small one; the rubber layer likes to fold up under the phone when you're trying to put the case back on. That's it. That's the only complaint I could think of. Great buy.

I got this case on the fly for my wife when she got her Note 8 two weeks early from T-Mobile (shout out). Best Buy was the only store with inventory ready and in store. We compared cases there and could not see a difference in a $40 Speck case or a $50 Otterbox Symmetry case so we went with this and it is great! Only complaint is that they have more color options but it is great for protecting my wife's phone.

Good Looking and sturdy case. Provides protection on the edges and protruding section on top is good for additional protection. Though if you are looking for slim case, find something else. Note 8 becomes bulky with this case.

Seems like a pretty good case even though the bottom of the case isn't covered. I've dropped phone twice and only the screen protector was affected. So far so good......

Friend purchased a Galaxy Note 8 and I bought the "Hard Shell" case for her to exit BestBuy with. Sometimes one hears stories of people dropping brand new phones on the way out of the store. This protected the Note 8.

This is a nice case, it has soft rubber on both sides with hard plastic on the back and top. My only slight complaint might be that it's a bit hard to feel the buttons, if they were extended out just a touch it would help. That is certainly not a deal breaker though.

This case was purchase as a replacement for another which literally fell apart in my hands. The case appears to be of good quality and durable so far. In summary, yes I would purchase this item again.
