The metal latch completely fell off while I was taking it off. The rectangular strap for securing the wrist-band tore in the core in exactly the same place another user showed in pictures. It would appear that the silicon is not durable at all and any flex causes it to tear. This is extremely unusual and not like the original Versa 2 band.

Even better it was on sale. It was not easy or intuitive to replace the existing band but that's a Fitbit issue. I had to go to YouTube to see how to release the band. It was a challenge holding down a pin while trying to snap it in place. But I finally got it to work and I'm happy with the look and quality of the band.
