Mohu - Arc Pro is upgrade over Mohu Leaf 30

This antenna is being used just west of Boston (inside route 128). I've enjoyed the Mohu Leaf 30 for 5 years and didn't really need an upgrade however there were a few of key channels that gave me trouble more often than I liked. I wanted to try an amplified antenna so I bought the Mohu - Arc Pro (when it was on sale). After a month I am very impressed. As a table top unit it was easier to move around and re-scan so I tried a dozen or so new spots. I ended up placing it behind the TV on the console which was just about in the corner of a brick building on the first floor. I always thought near a window and higher up would be better but this placement gets me all of the key channels in great, solid picture about 95% of the time. When I get a little choppiness I just move it a little and it usually fixes the problem. This is so much easier than the Leaf 30 which was tacked to the wall. I'll be keeping the Mohu - Arc Pro.

I canceled cable because price kept going up. Kept it for so long because I wanted local channels, especially during football season. I can't believe I waited so long. Great reception, all the channels I want and then some

My location is a high rise in the city of Philadelphia. Antenna needs to be near a window for best results. I get local channels such as CBS, NBC, FOX and the CW. For some reason I can’t get ABC. It picks up lots of other random channels such as ION. Picture is in HD and looks fantastic on my 4K TV.

We are cutting the cord on cable so we needed an antenna to pick-up the local channels. We had bought a different model for our living-room, but for optimum reception it had to be pointing north. This one does not. It is excellent I like it very much.

This antenna, which is amplified by being connected to to hdmi, has improved our channel reception for the local stations. Most of the stations are crystal clear. Some stations are still lost at times, but not nearly as often as we had previously experienced. Overall this antenna has improved our air tv viewing.

This is the second time I've purchased this antenna. I had a need for another one and since I liked the first one alot, I purchased it again. Since it stands on it's own, makes it easy to use.

Did not work for my area. Really did not expect it to due to distance to towers with trees and hill in the way. It's a physics thing. Gave it to a buddy and worked to improve his picture nicely. I wanted to use it for backup to cable during hurricanes.

After we cut the cable...we bought this antenna. It has a pretty good range; we scanned in all 3 main networks and Fox, plus GRIT TV and some other movie and shows. My only issue was that it says it gives signal strength with the lights in front, but ours only showed 1 light no matter where we moved it.

I bought the antenna in order to watch SNL on NBC, and for that purpose the antenna works great. I can't tell if I am picking up more or less channels than I would with a different antenna. I live in downtown San Diego and I mostly pick up a bunch of spanish channels, and a couple other local channels. The signal strength indicator seems very gimmicky to me. No matter in which direction I pointed the antenna the LEDs always showed 2 bars. I was better off re-running the auto tuner on my TV each time I moved the antenna to see if I could get more channels. It's nice that the antenna stands upright and does not have to be attached to a wall or window; which makes hiding the antenna much easier. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Love it. My TV shows like I have Cable. It picks up a lot of channels. Has 60 mile radius. It does not have to be placed by a window in order to get a perfect picture.

Live about 35 miles as the crow flies to the group of broadcast towers and this 60-mile rated antenna would only pick up a couple of frequencies, maybe three, in multiple rooms two stories high. The signal LEDs are useless as they never lit up different. It's a pretty-looking indoor antenna but that's about it. Antennas are very tricky to locate just right, especially indoors, and this unit did not do well. Returned and purchased a (more-expensive) brand/model with far better results.

This was my first attempt at using a indoor HD antenna. I think it works great! I get about 45 to 50 channels 10 miles north of Pittsburgh. The strength meter on it is helpful, but really the best reception is always going to be at the window. This model only has 10 feet of cable that is permanently attached to the antenna. For my living room situation it was just too short and ended up with a black cable across my wall to the window. I moved this one to a different TV and picked up their other antenna that allows you to choose the length of cable you need, and so now I have the right one for my living room. Both antennas are from the same company and work great!

Hi KathleenT! We are very sorry to hear you have not had a great experience so far with our Mohu Arc Pro Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. Depending on your distance from the broadcast towers, you may need a passive (non-amplified) antenna. Sometimes over-amplification can occur and disrupt signals if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. Please give us a call at 877-825-5572 and we will run a free signal analysis of your location to determine which antenna would work best for you and your area. We are available 7 days a week to help! Thank you. Mohu

Got this Mohu for a second television and I did not want to pay for cable or satellite TV for this second TV. I get 30 channels of free television with the Mohu. Channels come in clear and I am happy not having to pay for TV.

Living in Appleton means broadcasts are from GB or FDL area, so needed to bump up my antenna. This one works better, but still not great in bad weather. VERY EASY to set up and the cables were long enough so that I had plenty of wiggle room. Looks nice, too!

The latest version of the MOHU ARC PRO indoor amplified HDTV antenna works like a charm. I've owned several earlier MOHU antenna products which all worked very well, but this "ARC PRO" model seems to have a bit more ummpphhh! Easy to set up by just screwing the built-in coax cable to the TV's coaxial connector and plugging in the USB to the TV's USB port to draw power for the amplifier. Highly recommended as a great bargain for the price! It easily scans & picks up 30+ channels at distances up to about 50 miles or so depending on the power of that station's transmitter.

This antenna is easy to install and picked up about 25 channels in my area (a medium-sized city). It works best if located near a window and will pick up a few different channels if it is on the west vs. the east side of my house.
