I am extremely upset with the product and the service I paid for this product is no good. I will never tell people to buy it, but I will tell them not to buy it or the bolu product either. DON'T BUY THIS

If you happen to be in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. There can be quite a bit of interference when you are too close to the towers while using an amplifier. Perhaps it is my home's construction materials, idk. I'm guessing that I will need to look into outdoor antennas in the future . for now this one is being returned

TV signals can be tricky depending on where you are installing the antenna. The towers can be blocked by trees and tall buildings 40 miles away if you are trying to reach signals 60-miles away. I've said yes on recommendation as long as you have an available USB port.

The USB cable on the power inserter can be connected to a USB port on the back of your TV, or you can use a USB power adapter (sold separately) with a standard wall outlet - like you would use to power your smart phone.
