I already owned the 40 mile range of this product, but it does not have the amplified antenna. I purchased the 60 mile range to see if there would be any additional channels added, but there was no difference in my local area. Since it had the amplified antenna, I took it to a family members house to try it as she lives in a rural area of Georgia. It picked up maybe 1 or 2 channels only. It looks like they're discontinuing the 40 mile version, but I no longer need this one, so I'm going to return it.

Works great. Picture is clear. No fuzzy video. My friend has the cheaper version and it is terrible.
It is difficult to screw the cable into the antenna slot on the back of tv. Cord isn't very pliable.

Hi Frank, we are very sorry to hear this. Did you happen to give our customer support team a call to help troubleshoot or get tips on how to possibly fix the issue you are having? If not, please call us and we will be happy to help make this right. It may be something simple like not needing an amplified antenna depending on your distance to the broadcast towers. Sometime over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the towers and can very well make your reception worse. We are here Monday-Friday to assist at 877-825-5572. Thank you for your purchase and honest feedback.

Not worth the headache of trying to get a signal, Local channels will come and go, mostly not receive. I'm less than 40 miles from NBC and nothing. Maybe the Plus amplifier is just Negative, only one light show to show no matter what direction, Save your money, this is not it.

I bought this for the other reviews and the capabilities it had on the website. I have a metal pole barn garage first of all. Totally enclosed, fully insulated with concrete floor. I installed a 55" LG flat screen. I installed the antenna and followed the directions. I had an idea of best direction from my neighbor since he had just installed a different one recently. It found several channels, not as many as I thought it might find. It got CBS & FOX, but not the other major networks. Yes it's my manacle as well and I want to be able to close the garage door when it gets colder, so I closed the door and lost ALL reception??? Kinda stinks. I don't want to have to install it outside. Defeats the purpose. It is located up high and turned in the best direction I can find. I guess I will work on improving my WiFi signal and use more streaming. Works ok, but I would've thought it would've been better according to the manufacturer. Located in the upper right corner of my photo. Any suggestions for improvements?

Hi MikeS! Unfortunately, metal will heavily obstruct the signals you could receive with any antenna you try to use. We always recommend the higher you can place the antenna the better. With the buildings metal exterior, it sounds like you may want to consider an outdoor antenna. If you would like us to perform a free signal analysis of your area to recommend which antenna would work best in your location, just give us a call at 877-825-5572. Our customer support team members are here Monday-Friday to help! Thank you for your business and honest feedback.
