I love my Mohu - Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. From the moment I connected it to my TV, I received excellent reception. I'm getting a lot more stations than I expected. I'm glad that I spent the extra money. It was a good purchase.

Everything about it seems to be quality, but it's still just an antenna. It definitely improved our reception, but we're 1-2 channels shy of perfection. Also, it's difficult positioning it because the reception changes drastically when a person is holding it. Regardless, overall it is recommended.

Went to Best Buy to purchase an indoor atenna and the store staff highly recommended this one. It works well even though I'm in the trees. On occassion I get some distortion dependent on weather and tree movement. I don't blame the antenna since It works well other times.

Great antenna HD by they way for value. Scanned over 50 channel's including Johny Carson's show at night. Only concern is not fully gaining local channels like Fox on one floor and NBC on another floor. Aside of that best deal without paying cable or other providers.

Okay, not getting anywhere close to the number of channels it claims I should be getting. Could be the placement behind the TV, but according to the package it should work. CS says I should try moving it to a window, but who wants this rectangle obstructing the view outside. The picture quality is good for the channels I do actually get.

Hi there, Doc! Thank you for your honest review of our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. In order for your antenna to achieve the best possible signal reception, we highly recommend you placing your antenna in front of your TV, instead of behind it. High up or closest to a window is always best. You may also want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier to see if you may receive more channels. In most cases an amplifier isn’t necessary unless TV signals in your area are low power, or you have longer cable runs to multiple TV. If these tips do not help, please contact our Customer Care Team again at 877-825-5572. We will troubleshoot for you to pinpoint what the problem could be. We will also have tips on how to improve your reception in general while facing certain obstacles. We are available 7 days a week to help! Thank you. Mohu

Mohu Leaf 50 pulled in more channels than most I've tried. It did not however pull in the channel I wanted most which is natoriously difficult in the Twin Cities due to its different HD signal. Better than most but unfortunately it didn't meet my needs so I may try an outdoor antenna next.

Antenna needs to be completely free of any growth outside the window, nothing even close, my Palms about 6-8 ft. from the window caused way too much 'outage' to make consistent signal strength. Causing pixelation and/or flat-out BLACK SCREEN. Had to return them.

The Mohu antenna is amazing when it works. The video quality looks as good as when we had cable. That being said, it seems to be really hit or miss. When we initially set it up we were getting great reception with the channels we normally watch and were happy. We came back the next day to watch a show and the same channel that looked amazing yesterday now had too weak a signal to pick up. We had to move the antenna around, and I kid you not unless I was holding the antenna, the signal would go away. I come back to it the third day and everything is working as it should again. I'm going to give it a week to see if it's more miss than hit, and if so I'm returning it.

I was able to receive a few local channels (not all) with this antenna. One thing to note is that the amplifies is only needed if you have a long cable. If you are connecting the antenna to 1 cable, you may get the same reception with Mohu 30.

I love this antenna, I love the length of the cord that it has, to be able to get a channel, we had to move it into a different wall. Also love that it is small and flat, and can be pinned to the wall, and not screwed in.

On Super Bowl Sunday my u-verse tv went out to my dismay. My brother offered me his Mohu Leaf antenna and I was greatly impressed! The tv transmitters are about 20 miles away from me and the antenna brought in 57 HD stations, which is great. Right after the game I ordered the antenna and it’s great! I would gladly recommend it.

At first set up I was pleased, until realizing that the signal I got one day may not be what I got that night or the next day. I am located between two TV markets within 45 miles from me (and as close as 26 mi.). I could get none of the signals from the closest market...the antenna was on the opposite side of the house. I could get signals from the tv market on the same side of the house as the antenna, but then also needed to be moved at times to get some of the stations to stick. It just was too inconsistent and I get tired of having to move it all the time and re-search for channels. Probably fine if you live within city of broadcast.

This was really easy to setup. It got me over 24 channels and every single one has strong signal strength. The powered amplifier helps give you that extra 10 mile boost from the normal 40mi radius, unamplified, antennas.

Great antenna for the price, but give you limited channel. The reviews said about 25 channels. I only got 12 and some was not clear with an amplifier. After a week, I returned the item.

Got this for our second living room TV (we have sports on all the time on one of them) as we only have one cable box. Great reception, incredibly clear and crisp picture. Have had no problems so far. Definitely recommended.

I bought this antenna when I decided to "cut the cable". Installation was simple. Setup was so easy, I thought that I had missed something. I picked up more local stations than I thought and the channels come in strong and clear.

As long as it's positioned well in the home to attract good frequency, brace yourself for a lotta channels. I discontinued cable and opted for this. Reception can get laggy and pixelated, but works well most of the time. Save money and get this instead of cable.

This is the second antenna of this brand and it has given me great reception. I am receiving approximately 45 channels. The quality of the signal was better than my Dish reception. It had channels that were not on Dish. Good deal.
