I was nervous about ditching cable and going with only an antenna, but there was no need. The picture is just as good as HD cable and I get more channels than I expected. It's easy to set up and unobtrusive. Cut the cable cord, get the leaf.

I bought this primarily for over the air sports programing for the TV on our patio. I did not want to pay for any additional satellite box. It was easy to connect and gets very good reception for the channels I wanted. It seems to pick up all of the over the air channels that are available in our area. I also have a TV in my guest room. I got rid of the satellite box in there because it was only used a few times a year. If I have a guest, I can easily move the Leaf into that room. The reception is good, especially if the Leaf is placed in a window. I have a CBS construction home with a metal roof and get good reception even in the window not facing the local towers. With the Leaf, Chromecast, and Slingbox we can get everything (and more) on both TVs without the added expense of additional satellite boxes. My only suggestion would be to include additional options for mounting the Leaf. It comes with small pins that you can push into drywall or wood. It also has Velcro tabs that have adhesive on them. I do not want to put pin holes in the walls and I do not want a Velcro tab stuck on the wall when we are not using the antenna. I purchased clear suction cups with small metal hooks on them. The leaf has two small holes on the top for the pins. We hang the Leaf on these in a window when using it. We can put everything in a drawer when it is not in use.

Works surprisingly well for its small size and flat design. It is very directional and takes a bit of patience and positioning to pull in a strong signal. I am in remote location and have to pull in my signal from a translator station (about 20 miles away) and am very happy with the results I get.

Went from 9 channels on an old powered antenna to 24 with this one, and about 6 are HD now. Still a little finicky sometimes, but I have a couple spots I move back and forth between and that usually cures it. Love how thin it is and easy to mount pretty much anywhere.

This antenna was a pretty decent choice. We tried several different brands and this one would initially find the most channel options. The downside is while it would find more options the clarity is not always dependable. Our other tv with another brand will have the same channel coming in clearly, while this one will be going in and out sometimes and clear as a bell other times, the cheaper one in the other room picked up less initial channels, but the channels both share never fluctuates in and out like this one. I liked that it was flat and could be easily attached to the wall, but to get a good signal I had to move it near the window and unfortunately it looks like what it is...a giant rectangle stuck on the wall. Still cheaper then cable and better then the "as seen on tv" one and the cheaper alternate version I tried before it.

Bought this for replacing DirecTV while moving to another state and without satellite service during the transition. Repositioned antenna inside house to face varying directions until channel search provided best reception. TV indicated that 55 channels were located (30 miles north of Dallas) but actually only 12 were viewable. Most of the non-viewable channels video were heavily pixelated and erratic audio, but the viewable channels were fantastic. With digital it is either all or nothing. Well worth the price to avoid "remote" withdrawals.

After evaluating various HD antennas online, I decided to try the Mohu 50 as it was the only "Multidirectional" antenna I found. Boy am I glad I did! Getting amazing reception from two different broadcast antennas directions here in Charlotte NC. And better yet, I laid it flat on the carpet under the TV and it's saved me attic/outdoor antenna installation and cable run. So Sweet! Thanks MOHU!

The antenna delivers a performance boost when compared to non-amplified antennas, but can't perform magic! It seems weaker for stations on VHF frequencies as opposed to UHF frequencies. It's light weight and size makes it easy to try in lots of locations when looking for a good signal. I've used the antenna in an area with line of sight to antennas on a mountaintop about 35 miles away with good results (except weaker on the one station on a VHF frequency, as noted). I also have used it in a more wooded area with primarily weak stations in the area. It does a good job of pulling in one station that is kind of marginal with other amplified antennas (largely due to the flexibility in being able to position it). It doesn't magically bring in the very weak stations co-located on the same tower as the marginal station, though.

Easy to install, great range and perfect picture quality. We had to place it on the opposite wall from the tv top get the best picture, so now we have a long coax cable running the length of our living room. Still better than paying cable

Picks up about 20 stations. In bad weather, pixelation occurs often. Needs to be mounted high up. Our house is on a slope and when I had it mounted in the downstairs room (well below high point of our lot, but near or on a window), I got very poor connectivity-dropped out every few minutes. Have had to run a line up the stairwell (for now) and mount it as high as possible. Now reception is good for most stations, though PBS is still a tough station to bring in without occasional pixelation. Recommend, with reservations.

Mediocre Signal - Spotty Performance

The Leaf 50 is a thin, attractive antenna that's easy to hide. The USB power option for the amp is great. However, I get a mediocre signal and spotty performance living inside the city limits only 10-15 miles from our local broadcast towers. I imagine line of sight obstructions and broadcast signal strength are factors. Keep those in mind when expecting a true 50 mile reception radius with this antenna. It probably won't happen.

After finally cutting the cable and purchasing a Fire Tv box to catch my normally watched cable network stations, I needed a way to catch my local stations to catch all my Sunday football games. This product is very easy to set up. After positioning it in different locations around the room, which will take only several minutes. I found the perfect spot. I was able to catch 32 channels with just this paper thin antenna. Easily catches ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX. The reason for giving it 4 stars is that I don't feel it lives up to the 50 mile range. Stations at that range, don't catch a strong enough signal. I would say any towers within a 40 range, you will be able to catch. Overall a good product as I was just concerned with catching my local channels. That it will do

We're about 45- 50 miles from most TV stations that we can receive so I was pleasantly surprised at how well this antenna works. It was easy to install, and the quality of the picture and sound we receive will rival if not surpass what we get on cable. I may have to move the antenna slightly to get the best reception from some stations, since we get signals from three different geographic locations. I'm very pleased with the product. I've actually discovered some shows that our cable company doesn't provide!

I bought this antenna with the Roku which Best Buy had as a package deal at a good price. I purchased it for my father who lives in Florida and was tired of paying high prices for Direct TV. He is very happy with both and is now happily watching TV at a much lower cost. There is no cost using the leaf and he is able to get 5-6 local channels with very good reception. The monthly cost is for Roku and Netflix, but again he is getting a great picture and watching shows for much less per month. The leaf also has a website so you can put your zip code in and see how many channels you should be able to get.

When I entered the Best Buy store to purchase an antenna I was totally ignorant as far as the type, brand, quality that I was shopping for. One of the employees showed me several different types in varied prices ranges. For what I needed to accomplish and one that is compatible with my TV, he recommended the Mohu Leaf 50. I went home and hooked it up to my set which was absolutely quick and easy (just what I needed with my limited grasp for connecting gadgets). I have been totally pleased with the reception and number of tv channels I can access. I have no complaints and would recommend the same purchase to anyone.

This is a good product but you must position this antenna as close as possible near a window or in the window to get the best result. Other wise You will not be a fan of this BB product to say the least. Because for the price of this attenna You can go to Your nearest discount store and buy a simular product for about $10.00 dollars and be very happy with the product again as long as you place it by or in the window. The BB product is approximatley $60.00 dollar where BB has a much better product for almost the same price. I guess it comes down what Your planning to use this product for and how much money do You really want to spend at BB or any other store. But if it is for a 2nd TV in the kids room or where ever you can save $50.00 bucks in purchasing a similar product at Your local bargin discount store... For Sure....

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical about this working but it is WONDERFUL. Initially, I had trouble getting NBC. I read reviews by others who had the same problem. However I just kept moving it to new spots on the wall and eventually PRESTO, NBC!
I get a total of about 50 stations. In addition to the numbered station (IE channel 12.0 there are other channels aligned with that same frequency, IE 12.0 12.1, 12.2 etc). The HD channels are marked as such. on the TV screen.
ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS come in great. Other channels like Cozy, ION, and My 45 show old reruns but they are fun to watch too. This antenna along with my ROKU and I get many stations. Proud to say I am liberated from cable
I have a new TV (2013) Colby brand. Just plug the designated end of the coaxel into the threads on the antenna and stick the other end into your TV jack. Make sure you observe which end goes where (as per the instructions) because it will only work one way.
The box says this has a 50 mile range but I believe I get some farther stations. This is a great buy and I have already recommended it to friends.

Easy to install and hook up. I was surprised to get over 50 channels this far from Denver, however some are too weak for digital recording. Still helped in cutting the "cable."
