Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

I bought 5 antennas to try them out for my grandma who was tired of paying expensive cable bills. After trying ever antenna in the store, this one has the best mounting equipment, the thinnest, has a removable coaxial cable. It also picked up 144 channels here in the Los Angeles area. So happy they had it here.

This antenna has exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. I was very skeptical because it seems so small and flimsy and it is inside your home and not outside. Let’s just say it is far better than any outdoor antenna I have ever had in the past. HD being pulled out of the airwaves is crystal clear. I am blown away. Please buy this and never pay the exorbitant fees cable companies charge. You will not be disappointed. Cut that cord!!!

I have had great results w/ this antenna. I have one in my main floor Family rm. and one in our upstairs Master Bedroom. I had to move the Family Room antenna around a little in order to get the best reception for all the local channels. I actually think the picture is a little better than what I had through Comcast. Severe wind can cause some problems but it is fairly minor. Overall I have no copmplaints. It's great not having to pay the large cable TV bill every month.

Thought it would be flawless in my location but it still seems to lose the signal every now and then. I wish I would have spent the money to get a flawless connection, rather having it skip or every now and then. Kinda disappointed. I would spend extra money to get a longer distance in the future. But i guess you get what you pay for. Or maybe it's my location. Just stinks spending that type of money and not getting what I expected.

There are many choices for internal antennas and it's hard to make the right decision. The Mohu installs quickly and can affix the white floppy mat of an antenna almost anywhere. I suppose it's best to aim high and close to the outside. Mine is on top of my entertainment center where it can't be seen. I'm able to get 6-7 network channels. I should probably have gone for the longer distance. The closer channels come in crystal clear.

I get 28 channels with this antenna. I live in a rural area about 15 miles from the city. I am surrounded by a lot of trees. I get FOX, CBS, NBC, PBS and occasionally I get ABC. Three are some religious channels and a country music video channel mixed in there too. It was very easy to hook up. I moved it around and scanned for channels each time I moved it. I positioned it right above a window and that is where it picked up the most channels. It is a great item if you want to cut the cord with your cable company. I have it hooked up to an RCA Smart TV. I subscribe to Netflix and huluplus for much less than I would pay the cable company and I am not missing a thing.

Improves reception for outlying areas but is not perfectly reliable for good reception at all times. It is still better than others at this price point.

I bought 4 antennas before deciding on this one. It works pretty well, but I still have to adjust the cable to get a better signal sometimes. When I held the antenna in a position against the wall, it got a clear signal, but the signal did not work when I placed the Velcro stickers on the wall. So be sure it works before you affix the antenna to a spot. Also, I only got about 15 channels, but it may just be my location.

Picked this up in a combo with a Roku player. It works quite well. I tried the antenna with the amplifier and with out. You can definitely tell a difference with it on. Can finally tune in our PBS station which is the farthest tower from us. We've tried it on the wall and in the window. Works in both places. You might want to consider picking one up if you are cutting the cord and you live a good distance from television towers.

I live in a small old (brick & mortar) apartment in DC. I know these antennas depend on a lot of variables, so I also understand that my channels will not always be the best. I wanted to cut the cord to cable and the Mohu leaf has helped with keeping the local channels to include major sports events, local news, etc. I get a lot of other random channels that can be entertaining but the Mohu leaf serves its purpose giving me hi-def digital local channels.

Unobtrusive, easy to set up and mount. Works well enough for close stations, but unable to get adequate signal from stations less than 30 miles from my home. Tried changing position, finally putting it in a third floor window (one without a window screen) facing towards a station I particularly wanted (our local CBS affiliate) and could not get anything close to adequate signal strength. There are no tall buildings or other obstructions around my home that would block signal (I live in northern Ohio so it sure isn't from mountains). I estimate the antenna is dependable for stations within about 25 miles, not 50 as claimed. I probably could have purchased a less expensive antenna and received just as many channels in my location.

I was easy to install. I like how it mounts flat on the wall. The only issue is that the placement of my TV is not optimal for the antennae. Make sure you understand which direction the signal comes from and locate the Leaf in that location. It may not be next to the TV but the Leaf has a long enough cord to move around. So look up the direction of your local signal and run the channel scan each time you move it.

I had the rabbit ears, which were ok until I walked past them or changed the channel...they would need to be re-adjusted, which could be bothersome. With the Job I just stick it on the wall and forget about it and its not leaving the footprint that the rabbit ears did. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the antenna scanned several channel that it doesn't bring in...otherwise for the money, I'm good.

I purchased the antenna for my 88 year old father who didn't want to subscribe to expensive cable or satellite program! This antenna allows him at least 10 channels including local news and weather. Not to mention the picture quality is outstanding. So instead of paying a cable company an outrageous amount monthly for channels that he would never view. This antenna he has now was a one time investment that gives him exactly what he wants!

The Mohu Leaf is a great antenna for pulling in local stations, both analog and HD. Setup is quick, the amplifier really boosts the reception in my area, and the flat shape of the antenna makes it functional. I was able to pin mine to the wall and paint it to match. I was able to pull in 40 stations.

IF you don't want to pay for cable this is a good alternative. It is easy to install and very light weight. I did find that the cable from the antenna to the TV cannot be coiled or you will lose channels. Better to have shorter cable. All local channels and more come in clearly.

Limits of reception are mainly not the issue of the product, that being said, it was able to pick up about 30 channels...some of which we watch :) so just like cable, over the air has things you won't care about. With many of the main channels if you get them, the reception is exceptional. Crystal clear HD image, i swear it is better than the cable hd image i was getting before cutting the cord. But some channels are just not that clear or there is stuttering with reception, so you just have to be patient with some channels and some weather conditions. Put it as high up as you can to maximize reception. For example, our main tv is downstairs in a 2 story house. Having the antenna behind the tv or cabled through the wall in the garage so i would not see the square had disappointing results, 5 channels max... But I got the great idea of how to get the unit into my window upstairs when my tv is downstairs...hmmm SOLUTION: in our house it is wired in every room for cable, which all exit the walls in the garage... so I simply connected the Antenna to the upstairs bedroom window and ran it into the wall outlet for the cable... it then is run all through the walls and into the garage, where I just connected a line that brought it right into the back of my tv. So I created a very long extension cord basically!!!! This was key to getting 30 + channels at our location. Amplified was the way to go also, tried non-amplified unit and it just could not pick up much for us in our location. Your location may be better though. Hope this helps

This product comes with clear instructions and is very easy to install. Being flat, it is easy to hide behind a wall mounted screen or curtain. Has great reception, receiving all available signals within its' stated range. In short. it does all that the packaging states.
