Pick up local stations

Bought this for a TV set that is in the room over the garage that isn't used often. Didn't want to pay for an additional cable box. Was surprised at how many stations it picked up. Get some of the "side" channels that are broadcast but not on cable channels. Reception can vary a bit and picture can also be of different quality depending on the station.

I live 40 miles away from the city and I can get about 40-50 channels including NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC in HD and 4k compatibility I just love this antenna it took me some time to get it in the best spot I could though it just doesn't pick up from just anywhere. Another item I would recommend if you don't have cable and if you choose to not pay for cable all the best shows and championships come on Local channels anyway.

Easy set up, picked up roughly 12 channels for me when hooked up to my Sony flat screen, which is about 4 yrs old. I cannot get ABC and a couple other local channels which I cannot explain because I live within 10 miles of antennas but I do get other major networks like NBC, FOX, CBS and PBS so I'm good with that. Good quality picture, no other issues other than not receiving ABC network.

Helps, but still struggles with the hills

This is for our kitchen under-the-counter TV, and it definitely helps. However, since we're in a hilly area, it still struggles with a couple of local TV stations/towers that are only ~20 miles away. If you are in a flatter area, it could easily pull 50+ miles away, and is definitely worth the money. Also, the black side/white side is super clever, and makes blending in super easy!

This was the first attempt to cut the cord. The first time we did a channel search we were disappointed with the results. A quick shift to where we mounted the antenna and it was a whole new world. Lots of channels to choose from now. We have it on a sunroom at the back of the house in a heavily wooded area but it has exceeded our expectations.

Good Antenna Option Versus $0 Cable Bill

I purchased this antenna for a relative who can not afford the high, additional cost of cable TV. My relative is able to see the basic channels that were pre-cable TV and pre-digital TV, excluding channel 2, but with some other added channels. Channel 2 just does not come in. The picture shows very clear as the antenna only works with a flat screen TV and my relative is very pleased with the channels received.

This is a great product. It looks attractive behind my TV and the pictures are really good. I was surprised at how many free channels I was able to get. My only negative is that on my new 4K HDR TV sometimes it looks more composite compared to what my DISH picture is. I use this in my office and love it.

Good if you have a window near your TV

The long cord allowed me to place the antenna on the inside of the window near the TV. The reception was much better there than on the wall. We were able to pick up more channels and the clarity was much better. I was a little disappointed that the channel that I wanted most had the worst reception. But, overall the antenna placed on the window was better than any other indoor antenna tried before.

It gets a lot of signals because of the booster. No problems with it. The thin plastic will slightly cup over time, no problem though. If you think spending a lot on an antenna will get you more channels, I'd suggest researching them more. Your signal is limited by how far you are from the sources and in some cases you wont see a difference between an expensive one and this one.

The antenna initially found 19 channels, missed FOX. Called Mohu support they recommended removing amplifier. I did, rescanned and FOX was found. The picture quality is better than cable which I just dropped. If I could I would have not bought this one since it was $20 more than standard Leaf and had to disconnect amplifier to get all local channels.

I got this hoping it would pick up ABC that I have trouble picking up with my existing antenna. It did not pick it up unless I moved it around like I already have but I did pick up more channels. I moved it to the living room with about the same results. It is probably the trees around me. I like that it is flat and I can move it in different spots on the wall or window.

Upgraded from an old RCA antenna to the leaf. Was very pleased with the clarity of the picture as well as the additional channels that were received by the leaf. The small size (compared to the old RCA antenna) allows for easy mounting of the antenna.

small, flat, inconspicuous. I have purchased 2 of these, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. Rooms are on opposite sides of the house. Bedroom reads about 45 channels, the living room gets about 60. I would say that of those channels about 95% come in completely clear with no interruptions.

Since I live in the suburbs in an apartment outside Houston, I decided to go for an amplified 50 mile range tv antenna. I only had to adjust the placement twice to receive all 4 basic channels (abc, nbc, cbs, fox) plus many others-over 60 in total. There are also subchannels. It was very easy for one person to install and then I had to search for channels under my tv settings to receive them. I do not have a cable subscription and SlingTV was a very poor substitute. I do use Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon through my xbox and between those plus the antenna, I do not feel I miss out on anything important. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this due to missing the local and national news and sometimes just having the TV on in the background (which I would not do with my xbox) for low noise. Channels that broadcast in HD look great and I have very little to no interruption. No static either. It's very inconspicuous and for a one time fee to get free cable is an opportunity I wish I took earlier. Great investment.

I decided to cut the cord, get rid of cable, and try digital broadcast. After checking out reviews of various antennas, and upon recommendation of the Best Buy staff, I chose the Mohu Leaf 50. I live about 25 miles from a cluster of broadcast antennas, and decided to spend a few more bucks for a 50, rather than a 30. I am very pleased with its performance. Clear picture, lots of channels, only occasional pixelation. I even pick up several channels from more distant markets that I did not expect to receive. Nice product that did not disappoint. I'm saving $160/month by discontinuing a worthless cable subscription. Some of the digital broadcast channels a cheesy, but overall, I get enough movies, news, sports, and other programming to confirm that my decision to go Mohu was the right one for me.

Get the version with the amplifier, it will boost your reception. I bought the regular one and returned it. I live by a little mountain/knoll so maybe that's why the amplifier works better. The square antenna come with one side in white and the other in black to help match your wall or area. Push pins were cheap, but came in both black and white, plus double sided stickies.

I bought this antenna for my bedroom. It actually picks up more channels than my other antenna. I purchased it on sale and am very impressed with the picture quality.
It looses a star for the mounting it kept falling off the wall so I ultimately used command strips to hold it up

After so much frustration with Xfinity and other cable companies, I am very satisfied with the service if this product. Depending on your living area, you may receive different tv channels. Not a variety of premium channels, but I rather save the frustration of being ripped off by cable companies with their tricki tactics; and enjoy watching family-oriented tv programs and local news for free with this option. It is the best indoor antenna I have found and very easy to install. Now I don't have to be financially victimized by cable companies. Something positive and worth of recognition from government-related regulations to provide good options to the consumers. Price of this antenna is a little high but still reasonable depending on the area you live for the reception of channels you will receive.
