Size matters. Almost as good as my rooftop antenna

I have a large rooftop antenna which does a great job pulling in signal from local and distant channels. I was hooking up a set in another room and did not feel like pulling coax for another feed so decided to try a flat panel antenna in the window which approximately faces the Philadelphia towers. I first tried an old, unamplified unit that I had lying around for years. It did a pretty good job with most of the locals but could not grab some of the weaker signals like PBS (WHYY 12.x). I then purchased a very highly rated amplified generic unit which had no better but no worse results. I really wanted WHYY so I picked this up after seeing some positive reviews elsewhere. The first thing you notice is that it is considerably larger than most flat panel antennas. Size definitely matters when it comes to antennas so this seemed like a good thing. Hooked it up easily, it does not come with a USB power adapter but you can either use USB port on the TV or you likely have a bunch of adapters lying around. The net result on scanning for new channels was 11 (eleven) additional channels that the other units could not capture. Not only those on the Philadelphia tower but also some from NJ. Existing channels all saw a boost in signal strength. This is right up there with the large antenna I have up on the roof. I suspect it is mostly do to the increased footprint but this is clearly better than they typical, cheaper antennas on the market. Also, unlike some of those others, it did not include a card offering me a $10 rebate to provide a 5 star review. In this case, the performance is the real deal. A bit more money than the others but, if you are struggling to grab those fringe channels and do not want to climb on the roof, I would highly recommend giving this a try.

Purchased a new TV and moved my old TV to my bedroom. Purchased a new HD antennae for the new TV. It's a nice upgrade from my first HD antennae. Clear and sharp picture with more channels than the previous antennae.

Easy to follow instructions. Going to menu and scanning for channels is easy you get plenty of channels. You can move the antenna around and rescan anytime for more channels. I love not having to pay for cable.

A contractor cut my fiber/cable line, so I needed an antenna so I could at least get local channels. The antenna was pretty finicky when it came to a location to get all of the main channels. Move it one inch one way or another, and one channel would be fine, and another would go out. Overall, the picture quality was really good when you could get it locked in, but was a bit of a pain if you wanted all of the major networks and didn't want to adjust the antenna location.

Works well enough. I didn’t know if I’d like this style of antenna compared to regular ones. It’s very easy to set up. Sometimes the signal is still spotty no matter how I place it. But I’m not sure if it’s the antenna or the placement in the living room.

Mohu Leaf Supreme Pro good bang for buck

Very good antennae. It’s tweaky with rf interference so use some caution routing the cable if possible. I have a power wedge that I moved to help the reception. Upon scanning, my tv registered about ‘95’ channels of which about 85 have clear reception. Of those about 10 are repeats of a network on multiple channels. It is a step up from the inexpensive Clearstream antennae (around $35) which itself is a very good antennae for the money. The Clearstream’s stickum was wearing out and it’s performance dropped after 3 years. The Mohu draws about 20 more channels than the least expensive Clearstream with less dropout. The Mohu can be attached with either tacks or stickers. The stickers didn’t hold well on a wall. I imagine they are best used on glass only.

The light indicator to show the strength of signals is very helpful. However, the glue and velcro used to attach to the wall need improvement. It works mostly fine but it fell off one time. There must be some better way to attach this to the wall.

Great reception on local channels now. My only downside was having it stuck to wall. I'm use to it now as we have white walls and kinda blends. You need it by outside window or door if you don't live in an very open area.

Products like this always over promise their capabilities but this one really delivered. I’ve cut the cable and am using this over the air antenna instead. I get 58 channels, all of them clear!

My only problem with this is that it doesn't lay flat. I've had it for over three weeks, and it still wants to curl up dispite putting double sided tape, which just peels off the wall. Other than that, works great.

I have a couple other antennas and was having issues with one group of channels lately. I decided To try this one, and it works a lot better. Also seems to be lighter and less bulky.

I am satisfied with the Mohu I purchased. This Antenna is only average at best, when I compared the Mohu to other Antennas, which are about half the price. All the Antennas I tested received the same amount of channels and a couple were more consistent holding onto on to the channels than the Moho. The only reason I still have the Mohu is because after all testing it was to late to bring it back.

We've tried many antennas with no avail. Apparently, we live in an apartment complex that has thick walls that block out signal according to the coverage map. Most HDTVs can getaway with decent channels on a rabbit ears antenna, but in our case that would only pain us trying to stand that poor reception, seeing the picture getting pixelated into frozen squares due to our bad location. We picked up this flat antenna, attached it to that thick wall of ours next to the window, and I kid you not, we are getting great picture with not a single square in sight.

The signal lights make this easy to install and position. It did not pick up as many channels as I had hoped, but that is due to our location and surroundings. The channels we do receive are strong and clear.
