Gets good reception

We had the smaller Mohu-Leaf, but got a second tv so we needed a second in door antenna. We went with this bigger one hoping to reach more channels (because our motor home in the driveway gets more channels than we do in the house) but we still get the same channels. But the channels we get come in nice and clear as long as we are not having a storm.

MeTV Ahoy!

I honestly bought this for 1 reason and one reason only=> to be able to get MeTV from an HD terrestrial station broadcasting about 40 miles away. Not only do I now get that, but also a number of PBS stations and some other surprises, not bad ones, that I did not know were still out there. Personally, I don't watch any other stations, but they are there if others might choose to watch. Anything is better than paying outrageous cable bills for 200 stations of nothing good or satellite which is 200 stations of "recalibrating" and "Signal lost" if the wind blows, followed by nothing good when it DOES work.

We were able to watch our favorite channels on TV without the added expense of cable subscription. It was easy to scan for channels and the picture is clear. The only drawback I have is that I cannot get the antenna to lay flat which I have tried to straighten but it bounces back to the form that it was when the antenna was removed from the box that it came in. I have tried numerous times to flatten the antenna but no such luck. The manufacturer should have the antenna flat in the box instead of curled up and that would eliminate the issue.

The purchase of this antenna was to replace an older RCA antenna that broke. This antenna does pull in many more channels + they are extremely sharp + clear. I am happy with it most of the time, however it is wall mounted + cannot be moved as a model that stands alone.

I bought this antenna for my brother who lives in a rural area and it does not work well at all. He had used another antenna, that cost much less than this one, which seemed to work a little better. But we thought buying one that cost double that amount, would work better. Not!! It did not work better than the lesser expensive one. Ugh

A Great HDTV Digital Cable Antenna

This HDTV antenna is amazing. I don't live near any particular tower, but the digital antenna picked up 45 channels. I previously owned another antenna that didn't even come close to this one, as far as distance and strength are concerned. The HDTV antenna gives you a great picture quality, and all you have to do is go to the channel input on your TV and scan for channels. It's that simple. It comes complete with all of the cables that you need. The only exception might be if you don't have a USB port on your TV to use for power, you will have to purchase the power adapter which is sold separately. But most newer televisions have at least one USB port for power. Overall this antenna gets high praise. Much better than any others I have used.

Mohu TV Antenna

I have this same brand antenna in my bedroom and this one on my living room. Range is good, pics are really clear with the 4k compared to a regular antenna. The only thing is my wall has that raised swirl design and since the material is not hard surface it doesn't lay flat. I have the top being held with thumb tacks and I had to tape down the bottom to keep the attena part from raising from the wall to keep the range stable. Love the light reference feature to make sure you have a good spot, but not sure how accurate it is. Sometimes, while its still green it would pick the channel up and then it would drop or go in and out. Overall, I do like this atenna.

Worth the money

Strong, clear signal. Received every channel I was hoping for and a few more. Sits flat on a table in front of a second floor window which faces the opposite direction of the transmitters in my area. Did not even have to elevate it or affix it to a wall to get all the regional channels, even the one hard-to-get channel in my area. As good as it gets for an indoor antenna. You might luck out with a less expensive antenna, but if you want to cut to the chase, it is worth the price. Highly recommended.

Good reception most of the time. After my first scan I only had 5 channels but when I moved the unit to the second floor I had 50 channels to choose.

We got rid of Uverse/Satellite because it became to costly. Unfortunately that meant buying an antenna. We have used a different cheaper model and always fought to get good reception or just reception at all. This one has worked great. I think we've had to reposition it 2 times since we've had it and that may have been because it got bumped due to cleaning. We do actually get ALL of our channels now though!!

this antenna gets good reception of local stations

My wife and I cancelled cable but wanted local news coverage. the Mohu unit gave us an excellent picture on the stations we wanted, and it was simple to set up. It works best in a window but is a little less effective if it is against a wall and generates some snow in the picture occasionally. bad weather also can degrade the picture a little but not enough to dissuade us from watching.

Giving it 3 stars because the signal strength never got past one bar. This may be because I live on the bottom floor of two story building. Even the one bar is strong enough for the channels I need though. Perhaps if I had a higher signal strength I could pick up some more of the HD channels.

I originally purchased the one $30 cheaper. That one had pretty limited channels so I bought this one for $80. I get a couple of additional channels, however both antennae find more and less channels every time I run the channel scan. Your location is critical for any OTA antenna. This antenna is much larger than the cheaper one.

The antenna worked very well. Bringing in over 75 stations in L.A.! Though I think for the money I would go with their $50 product at least for the LA area where almost everything is transmitted from Mt. Wilson, fairly close by. I have both the $50 and $100 versions of this antenna. They both work about the best of any of the inside antennas that I have tried and take up no space. Just hang it with a little tape. In this area they both work about equally well for me. The 16' coax cable gives you a lot of flexibility on placement of the antenna. Placement within the house is important due to signal bounce. Even though the panel is advertised as omni-directional, try a few different locations, facing the panel if possible with the flat front of the antenna facing the general direction of the transmitter towers if you know where the are. See antennaweb.com. Tune placement for best overall results for your most important stations. I receive all major stations in the LA area, over 75!
The $100 version has a coax with screw fittings on both ends so it can be replaced with a single longer cable. The $50 version 16' coax is hard- wired into the antenna panel but it can be extended with a barrel connector and another length of coax.

It’s amazing how many tv stations this antena was able to pull in. Easy installation, just pin it on the wall and connect it to your tv. Set tv to scan for channels available and that’s it.
Picture quality of channels pulled in was excellent.
There are cheaper antennas out there but with the quantity and quality of channels it makes it worth the price.
