I remounted it horizontally and it works great--no more pixilation. Left the amplifier gadget on the ON position.

Especially at night. No way is 50 miles a possibility unless a clear view downhill.

Posted .We recommend moving the antenna up higher on the wall or in a window. If you need a longer coaxial cable, you will need a coaxial coupler to attach additional coaxial cable. When you move the antenna, please remember to rescan your TV for channels at every location to place the antenna. With indoor antennas you need to try different locations in a room because there are other electronics that can cause signal interference. We still could not pick very many networks however because of mountains blocking our range. The associate at the store did tell us this could be a problem.

I had to move it just a little to pick up the local football game but very pleased with this purchase.

I have to place this smaller model on a north wall and it only picks up three PBS stations.

Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If this does not help, before you return the antenna, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. Posted .Hello from Mohu! You may be receiving all the available channels in your area which means the Vibe performed just as it should. When you install a new antenna to your TV, you must scan your TV for channels because the TV tuner is locked to the frequencies the old antenna pulled in. Posted .Hi NerinaZ, please use the antenna without the amplifier and rescan your TV for channels. Sometimes if you are too close to the towers, the amplifier can over tune the TV signals and cause unnecessary interference.
