Easy to set up. Didn’t have any issues with the app or connection like other people mentioned in their reviews. Item is much larger than anticipated and takes up most of my nightstand. Definitely does it’s job well when on Auto mode it detects if anything has been sprayed or exhaled smoke and it boots the fan speed to filter the room right away. Several speeds so great to
Use while sleeping for white noise. I prefer speed 3 for sleeping. My filter is 44% now so lasts a while. Price could be lower.

This has just saved my quality of life. I tried other air purifiers and my allergies were just really bad. It got to a point were I was really bad all day. I haven't had any allergies ever since I got this and I sleep perfectly and also get through the whole day like I never had allergies at all. Will definitely save to get the larger one for the rest of the house.

Looks good, does the job. The description says it works with Apple Homekit, after buying I found out it does not, the only way to get one that works with HomeKit is to order directly from Molekule.

Great air purifier, very easy to setup and you can feel right away the difference and the fresh, pure air. Delivery was super quick, I love the design and besides some issues with the app control, it's an excellent product!

Dust? What dust?

I've been considering buying an air purifier during the past few months because living in a desert during the spring and summer time can bring around quite a bit of dust particles and allergens, especially on those breezy days where the wind picks up coming off the mountains. I'm not too familiar with different brands or products offered in this area, but what I do know is that this particular product by Molekule has definitely improved the air quality in whichever room I have this running in. I feel like when I am around this product, the air quality and
My favorite feature about this product is how portable it is. It has a little weight to it, but that is "normal" I imagine. I move it between my bedroom, and my loft/second living room/office, and it's as simple as unplugging it and plugging it back in. I also really like how "not noticeable" this product is when running. It's pretty quiet and doesn't disturb when working or watching television/playing a game.
If the product is so great, why 4 stars? The initial setup of this product through the Molekule app was mildly irritable. It took the app about a day or so to recognize the machine and connect it to my WiFi. I expected it to be a smoother setup with the app, but maybe there are still some "bugs" that need to be sorted out. However, if you don't want to use the app, you could just plug it in and let it run. Though, then you wouldn't be able to use or access of the features of this device.
Now once the app is successfully setup and connected to the unit, I will say that it is pretty neat. You can set it at various "speeds" (1 to 5) or "Auto Protect", which is the setting I have it on the majority of the time, and you can view your "particle level", which indicates the air quality of the room or area where the unit is. The app also tells you about the filter inside (the PECO filter) and looks like it will indicate when it needs to be replaced, which is awesome.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this product and will definitely consider Molekule for more products like this in the future!

Nice look and size, but found it noisy

I like the overall look and found functionality to be very appealing and seems to do a good job of cleaning the air. Our air quality was deemed good initially and has stayed that way, but my wife and I both have allergies and it does seem to help. Product guide suggest running 24/7 for best results. The provided product literature states “The unit not only cleans the air of pollutants but also destroys them on a molecular level - using a catalyst and UV-A light. Mold, bacteria, viruses, allergens and VOC’s don’t stand a chance”. Device monitors the filter and won’t run if it needs to be changed. I could not find anything detailing the expected life of the filter but it monitors its health and will let you know when it needs changed.
But I found the unit noisy, even on its lowest setting I could hear it from across the bedroom at about 18 feet, and I am not a lite sleeper. I am getting used to it but also tried in living room with TV on and the sound still bugged me. So, we run it on high during the day when not at home and low at night. Of course, sound is subjective so I do recommend but would be interested in how others perceive the noise.
It was packed nicely in 99% recyclable material. Just followed the provided step by step instructions to setup. You do have to open the unit up to unwrap and set the filter properly. Has about a 5-foot cord that winds neatly into the base to set exact length you need and hides the rest. Also, it is light weight and has a leather(?) strap attached making it easy to haul from room to room if desired. Nice size easily fits on counter top or nightstand, etc.
Downloaded the app (took a couple of times to get it synched with phone/my network) and was ready to run. App allows you to access the device from anywhere but its functions are pretty basic. Can check filter status, select unit to auto protect or manually set 1 of 5 speeds. It also gives Particle level but only indicates good, moderate, bad and very bad – no detail on what particles there are and no way to look back thru time to check history.
There are also controls that are accessed by pressing the middle of the top of the unit, “waking” the device and allows you to cycle thru the fan speeds and active mode. A long press of 3 seconds puts unit on standby – de-activating the fan, UV-A and display lights.
I really like the play on the Molekule name.
2 year warranty
It seems air cleaners are much more prevalent now especially with the ongoing issues with the virus. I do recommend but, in my opinion, it could have been better if it gave detailed info on the particles & VOC’s and allowed you to check history of same.

First off, it was super hard to get setup. The app was funky and I thought I got a dude when it couldn’t start (had to twist extra hard to lock in)
Operation wise, it was okay but it gave a smoke like smell. That in conjunction with the bad app was a recipe for return.

Hi Kelvin, we understand that setting up your device was a bit difficult, and we're sorry to hear that it did not work out for you. Our PECO technology does not emit any harmful byproducts once contaminants in your airspace are destroyed. However, the smell you've identified should dissipate after 24-hours when your air quality reaches optimum levels. Should you decide to give us another chance in the future, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service team at (855) 999-9069 or by email at [email protected] for any device or mobile app questions.

Does not carry HomeKit functionality despite being THE SAME EXACT UNIT SOLD THROUGH THE APPLE STORE.
I received this and tried to connect it to HomeKit, as I saw on MoleKule's website it was compatible. However, after struggling with this for hours I found on reddit that HomeKit functionality is only included on these Mini+ that are purchased THROUGH the APPLE STORE!! This is bonkers. Like... what??? Returning my unit, and the headache associated with it.
The app is garbage too, just get something else even if you don't need HomeKit connectivity.

Hi Tony, we're sorry to hear about your experience regarding HomeKit functionality with the Air Mini+. The Air Mini+ is definitely compatible with Apple HomeKit and does not need to be purchased through Apple for this feature. However, if you're having problems with the setup, we recommend contacting our Customer Service team for further assistance.
