Fun! It's both the familiar game and something new. Loading issues people mentioned have been resolved. Glad I got it on sale, don't feel it's worth the full retail price.

Fun game for family. My eight year old loves to play it.

You can play this game offline as well as online which is a must for a modern day Monopoly & this doesn't disappoint at all. The portability makes for a nice change updating a classic as well.

Past reviews of this game have mentioned the awful loading times. I'm happy to report that recent updates have fixed those. This is a fun version of Monopoly that can be played on the go thanks to the Switch's portability. The colors pop and it is easy to control. You can even play against others online. If you are a fan of Monopoly, or just looking for a board game on the go, I recommend this version.

I bought this game to be able to play with the whole family. The game far exceeded my expectations. It has provided endless hours of fun for our family of three. We have an 8-year-old who has had no trouble being able to play and keeping up with the game. There are many different board play options to keep the game interesting and different. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a family-friendly game on the Switch.

Back when the original iPods with the scroll pads were cool, I bought Monopoly for that system and after the iPods broke down and I could no longer really use mine the way I wanted, I lamented the loss of the game as it was one of my favorites. This game made me feel like I was relieving my childhood with that monopoly game. The only downside is that you can only customize one house rule per game, unlike the old one for my iPod. I wish there were more customization options because I liked adding in all the money bonuses. The difficulty levels are also nice. I feel healthily challenged on the normal setting and I use the very easy and easy as confidence boosters. You definitely have to have a lot of patience with the harder levels! I unlocked every token within a week or so of owning the game and I still like playing it.

It's a pretty good game for what it is. I'm sure you have heard it a lot, but being able to take a game on the go like this is a nice benefit.

Game looks pretty cool and I look forward to playing it more with family. The normal price is a bit steep for what the game is but I paid 20.00 and am happy with that.

The game is great and is a typical monopoly style game play comparable to other platforms. Does have some lag I'm joy con currently however.

I am a very big fan of Monopoly & use to play it religiously when I was younger. Nowadays nobody seems to want to play board games anymore. In my household, the recent unfortunate events involving the pandemic sorta thrust them back into the limelight early on last year which brings me to my recent purchase. Overall the game itself is ok. The graphics are ok, albeit a little dated & gameplay is straight forward. The AI can be annoying to play against but if your playing against a friend it’s decent. It’s nice to have Monopoly on the go & not worry about game setup or losing individual pieces but I feel like they could’ve done so much more with it like offer different gaming modes, a better AI or the ability to compete against more than just one person online.

This is a great alternative to having to carry around a board game. I have been playing this on my travels and it makes time fly. The only real issue I have is that it takes forever to have the dice roll, stop, and then have your piece move. And there is no way to make it any faster. It isn't a huge issue but it slows the game down a lot.

The only reason I bought this game was because it was half price. The graphic is good but does not worth the full 40 dollars price.

I can’t say enough how much I love the Switch! This is a great family game to play so if your looking to have a family game night, this is a great choice.
