I had never played a monster hunter game, But i decided to give it a try this time. I think it’s masterpiece level. One of the best game on the switch. Online is really easy and seamless. I get to chill with my friends and do my stuff at the same time, then we go on a quest, i can even join them later and have them start without me. I’m addicted

This is one of the best entries into the series and is simple to understand and learn. What else is simple to understand and learn? THE BEST BUY APP. It’s easy to find a store and locate the item you would like to purchase. They give you reminders about the pre order or purchase and the availability as well. I’d say it’s worth the time.

I'm semi-new to the Monster Hunter franchise (World was my first game in the series). This game is exactly (if not more) addicting than I remember World being. The new mechanics are extremely fun and it's a great game to play with friends or on your own. (Also, you get to customize cats and dogs to help you hunt and I love them all.) 10/10

I've been playing monster hunter since wii and i was worried this was going to be another Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. This game is NOTHING like it. Its 100x better. Its basically a mini monster hunter World. No zone to zone loading, looks awesome for a switch game and the new wirebug feature is amazingly fun. Highly recommended.

Good old game, perfect for online gaming nice characters.

This is literally my new favorite game on Nintendo switch. I was already a fan of monster hunter series happy to have it on my switch now. Amazing graphics good gameplay. Also for new players to monster hunter series ... they explain everything to you is a plus...unlike old monster hunter games you had to figure it out or Ask a friend.

I never played a MH game all the way through and I did for this one. very fun to play with friends and its easy to pick up random people online for extra help on Hub quests (harder quests). DO YOUR VILLAGE QUESTS FIRST. There's a lot of advice I could give but i will tell you this, this game is a lot more fun then i was expecting.

After spending the last couple weeks playing Monster Hunter Rise, I am pleased with a lot of the elements that they have included. The graphics are being sustained a lot better than I was expecting from the transfer from Monster Hunter World on the Sony Playstation to the Nintendo Switch. Overall, pleased with the game so far.

A must play/buy for Monster Hunter fans. I’ve played Monster Hunter for close to a decade and this is one of the best games to come out in this series. Rise is better than Monster Hunter World in so many ways. Gameplay is smooth and fortunately removed some of the poor decisions Iceborne brought to the series. 10/10

Been playing monster hunter since the 3ds ones and glad to see the series still going and changing parts of the gameplay. I still prefer the look of monster hunter world but its still a good looking game. If you played the other monster hunter games you know what to expect.

Very good game with constant updates. I enjoy playing this game with other people. If you play by yourself, this game is pretty challenging. You can't do local multiplayer with this game so each person needs to have their own switch and coly of this game to play together.

An excellent game in a great franchise. It's a bit bare right now, but with the promise of more to come, there will be plenty to sink your teeth into. The game has streamlined some of the more tedious aspects while keeping the core gameplay fast and excited. It's a great entry point into the series.

A quality entry to the monster hunter series. Simpler than the min/max of monster hunter world, but keeps the equipment balancing. The numbers shown are smaller in this game than older monster hunter games, a 10 in monster hunter rise would be about the same as a 100 element in the older games.

You like monster hunter world? You’ll definitely love this, unlike previous monster hunters they’ve taken cues from the latest game and revamped the old style found in monster hunter generations. It’s not bad but this to me was an overall better experience gameplay and control wise.

Incredible game, order filled on time, day of release with no problems. Drove up, walked in, grabbed my game and left. The game is great as I knew it would be and I'd 100% recommend both Best Buy and the Monster Hunter franchise as a whole. Never disappointed on either front.

It's the Monster Hunter got me to use Hunting Horn after not liking it since MHFU. It's an amazing game and the Wirebug changes the how hunts go. I'm just glad to see how far this series has come. I just want everyone to play Monster Hunter. So if you don't have it, get it.

You CANT go wrong with monster hunter on the switch! I am still playing this a lot as they keep updating the game with free updates. Updates includes new monsters , weapons, armors, etc. this is a great title to play with your friends and it is portable.

There are a lot of quality-of-life improvements with this game. If you're a fan of the series, you will love this game. If you're a newcomer, I recommend playing the demo first to get a taste of what the game is like because Monster Hunter isn't for everyone.

A great addition to the series. I have only played a few hours so I don't have a lot of experience with it just yet but from the little I have played it is certainly an engaging experience. I look forward to progressing and teaming up with my friends online.

I've put about near 15-20 hours into this game so far (as I've done a little grinding for key weapons and armor early on in this game. Of what I've played so far this is a Game of the Year candidate for Switch. In its genre it is exactly what Switch needed. I played through the demo and am currently playing the full game. Game resolution and framerate are rock steady and the online MP is top notch for something on Switch. This is a deep, amazing game that shouldn't be missed by Switch fans. Also, it is quite welcoming and forgiving to new Monster Hunter players for the first 6-8 hours or so (especially if you're doing a little item grinding) which is always appreciated. I highly recommend this one. Also, the steelbook case that came with this game is awesome! Thanks and until next time I am out!
