I have been playing MH since PSP and lately I put over 800 hours in MHW PS4. Needless to say, I was very pumped when Rise was announced and I am very happy with the colabs Capcom has released. This is a must buy for any MH fan and newcomers who are looking to get into this franchise.

I’ve only played for the 10 hours but I can see myself playing for Atleast another 100 hours. This is my first Monster Hunter and I can say this has been by far the best game to release in 2021 , the combat and the gameplay is so smooth and fun. The inclusion of the wirebug is really cool and is actually what got me interested into buying it and pre ordering the game. This is definitely a 10/10 and a must buy!!

Loved this game. It's really fun and great for newcomers to the series. I do like the improvements in QoL type stuff. Faster user interface, and simplification or removal of certain MH gameplay elements so we can focus on the hunt. A little easy for veteran MH players though.

Monster Hunter Rise brings all the things you love about the series and adds new monsters and items and challenges to this new game. The ability to use Wire Bugs and riding your dog lets you traverse the levels much faster. This game can be confusing to new players, but for returning players, it's real easy to pick up. Playing this game online with friends/other players is very helpful.

I got this game on day one last March and I think it is still solidly one of the best Switch games to date. Certainly, there is a learning curve and requires attention and micromanaging, but many of us want that! It's challenging, there's a fun grind, and it's very charming, even where I don't want to admit to it. The music is also a chef's kiss

It reminds me of an original monster hunter game, with a lot of quality of life updates, such as ridable dogs, you don't need to paintball monsters, etc. It has vibrant colors and fun interactive fights. Its a bit more realistic world where the monsters will attack each other this time around. Online gaming is easier to find a group and play with people.

If you are a monster hunter fan, this is a must-have. This game is also a good start for any newcomers since it has a ton of added quality of life features not present in the previous iterations. Just get the game if you have a switch. It is a bit easier and has less content at the moment but it does have updates/patches later so if you can wait, it is fine to get it day one.

Good fantasy rpg game that allows a more easier gameplay for single players this time as opposed to online gaming. The new mechanics also are a nice touch making exploring this world more fun. Overall a game that welcomes single player gaming or online community gaming depending on the gamer.

I am pleasantly surprised how easy it is to get into this game. I’ve played older Monster Hunter games and found them hard to get into. With Monster Hunter Rise, there are tutorials that pop up. They also added the wire bug which is basically a zipline/grappling hook which you can use to traverse the environment. The game is fun especially when you play with friends.

Good old school fun and shows that monster hunter is still a elite title

We live this game. This is the second copy we purchased, so we could play multiplayer as a family. Great game if your new to the monster hunter series or are a returning veteran hunter. Not quite as step of a learning curve as some of the other hand in the series but I was on with that as my 10 year old son was able to get into this game without much difficulty.

Fun, new monsters, everything we love about monster hunter games.

Monster Hunter Rise simply feels excellent. Whether you are a fan of the older games or the newer Monster Hunter World style of gameplay, Rise will not disappoint. It feels like a perfect blend between the two.

Great game with a lot of stuff to do. Totally worth it.

The Monster Hunter series have always polished and refined and reformed Through Time since 2006. This entry is no different a little bit on the easy side however it's a nice entry for newer players. And with their history I'm sure difficulty will come later. Charming and a must buy. I don't buy games new except for the series. Check it out you won't regret it.

Another excellent release by Nintendo. You know what is the best thing about Nintendo releases? They don't have day 1 patches because Nintendo takes the time to make sure a game is working properly before they release it. Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need.

As a longtime fan of the Monster Hunter games, I wholeheartedly recommend this game to both veterans and newcomers to the franchise. It is a fun and engaging game that will provide players with dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of enjoyment.

This a great game from the 20 hours I have put in and I can say that it surpasses Monster Hunter World, which along with friends we have put 1800 hours combined, in every aspect and is a perfect entry for newcomers! My one gripe is that the ending isn't included as of when I am writing this (April 2, 2021), but will be added via a free update with reoccurring updates that add multiple monsters which is great! I recommend this game to Monster Hunter fans and people who are looking to play a great game with 2-4 friends online.

Monster hunter rise is a new addition to the monster hunter series that defies expectations. Game is packed with monsters from the other series and a great handful of new ones, this monster hunter is also newbie friendly which is great if you ever want to play a monster hunter game and dont know where to start this is the one.

Rise adds a few new mechanics and tweaks a few old ones but all in all Its been a positive experience. All 14 weapons feel viable to use and with some tweaks to older weapons that may not as been as popular like the hunting horn for example are now fun and great to play with.
