After playing MHW, this game felt great to go back and revisit the MH series. Provided the fun content World provided and introduced some new mechanics that made the game more fun and smooth to play. The one thing is, the game doesn't have much content on release, but hopefully the future updates add more hours of gameplay.

This game is amazing in my opinion. I'm about 120 hours in and I still keep coming back to it. As a fairly new MH player myself, I believe that this game game is a great first game for players to get into monster hunter. What Capcom did with this game on the switch is also notable. One of my GOTYs for sure.

One the best Nintendo switch games on the market. I would even say this is one the monster hunter games. I can’t wait the next installment of the series.

Game of The Year easily! The fluidity of movement in comparison to MH: Gen Ult. Is far greater! Only about 15 hrs in and i looove it and I’m honestly terrible at Monster Hunter type games! But I’ve seem to have the hang of it so far! Beautiful graphics and open world goodness!!!

Still early in but game came quickly, customer support was helpful with a price match, frames are fine, graphics solid for the Switch. More of a God Eater, Freedom Wars player usually than Monster Hunter but the addition of the wolf helps the pace.

Best monster Hunter game ever!! Love this game so much!! You can start this game with out ever playing any of the previous monster hunters and it welcomes you right in!! Very easy to learn and fun to play. Warning! This will take over your life and probably cost you your GF or wife! Lol

Combining elements of the prior Monster Hunter games from DS with the quality of life improvements from World. With a twist from the new Wirebug mechanic, this is one of the easiest Monster Hunter games for the general masses yet also retaining much of what made the prior games fun.

I'm glad this was my first Monster Hunter experience as it's got some great quality of life updates and the movement is much better with the additional the wirebug mechanic. Graphics are crazy for the Switch especially in handheld but super stable game and can't recommend it enough.

I have been playing monster hunter since the very first game. The additions to mhr are welcomed although i feel the games difficulty has become easier. Overall though i feel that it will draw in New players to the franchise which is a great thing. Keep up the good work Capcom!

Don’t know much about this game, but it must be something special. I have two kids and they both wanted the same game. They were even willing to pay for the games themselves. I bought them each, their own game. They are both, very thankful and voluntarily doing choirs. AMAZING.

This is a great evolution of the Monster Hunter Formula. Some of the new additions suchas the grappling hook make this title easier than previous installations but it's still just as enthralling. Gameplay: 5/5 excellence Story: What Story, this is MH Graphics: 4/5 Pretty good for MH

And I'm so glad I did! Finally took the dive into the Monster Hunter universe with this title and a lot of prodding from a good friend. Glad I did! The learning curve is steep but the payoff is well worth it. I've been having a blast hunting Monsters online with my friend.

Great game, very addictive, many hours spent so far. The new wirebug moves are really cool and add a lot to the traditional Monster Hunter gameplay. Many hidden things to find around the world make exploring fun by pushing your traversal with the wirebug to the limit.

I absolutely love the new game in the Monster Hunter library. Almost no load time allows for ultimate and thorough game play. I've played Monster Hunter since the PSP, and this is by far the most advanced, while still keeping the integrity of the original game.

My son was pressing way before the game came out so the day it was released I had to get it so since he's had the game he hasn't put it down!!! So I'm happy and he's really happy!! I'm glad best buy had the game!!! Once again they never let me or my son down!!!

Good weekend game to pick up and play with friends on the weekend. Easy to pick up and put down in less than an hour or play for several hours at a time. This is a hack and slash that allows you to be ask skilled or unskilled as your play style desires.

If you like action games where you hunt big monsters with bad attitudes for their loot to build weapons and armor. The cycle of life!

If you have never played a monster hunter game start with World or with this one. FOR RETURNING PLAYERS yeah its more of what you love with great QoL features. Down side is its on the switch and because of this doesn't support at least 60fps only 30fps.

I bought this for my daughter, and she says that this is the best of the series of Monster Hunter games. She had asked for it for her birthday, and she has not been disappointed in her choice, so I call this one a win..!

It's unfortunate that they couldn't finish this game before it was released, but they are constantly updating it to the point where it should have been on release. Even without the updates though it is a great game that will last you hours
