A Great turn based rpg. It does suffer from some performance issues on Switch but doesn't really take from the enjoyment

A distinctly more memorable outing than the first Monster Hunter Stories, a good title for anyone who likes Pokemon and wants something similar but distinct

I wasn't expecting to like this game because I'm usually not a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise, but after trying this game at a friend's house, I was convinced of getting it. It's a bit slow-paced, and the battle system can feel complicated at first, but as you gradually get used to it, you can't help but love the game, and the story is really interesting. I was very interested in the development from the start. Controls are good, graphics are very pretty, and the game is overall fun

The gameplay & story of this game are addicting, & the fact you can name any & every monster is a fun addition. It can actually compete with Pokemon while having its own identity. In terms of difficulty, it’s exactly what MH veterans would expect out of turn-based Monster Hunter

Really like the combat style, doesn't run super well on the Switch, but that is sort of expected these days when it comes to games like this.

This game felt more pokemon with a monster hunter paintjob than a monster hunter game. It's been fun. Interesting and again a hit on stream

I am about 10 hours in and love the game. You have alot of customization options for your rider so you can make your character as unique as you like. The turnbased style of stories makes it easy to get into for those who do not quite like the action based style of the normal monster hunter games.

I highly recommend this game to Monster Hunter fans. The turned based combat is great. The storyline was interesting for a Monster Hunter game. I'm well over 100 hours. Plenty of end game content.

It's a turn based monster fighting RPG. (Like pokemon) the game is not easy as pokemon shield and sword. Which is a good thing as you won't steamroll through the content. This game is also co-op so you can hunt really tough monsters with one friend.

I've already put 35 hours into this game since it released less than a week ago. I didn't think it could but imo it tops the first one that was on 3DS by a landslide. Super addictive and all-around amazing experience. The only issues I have with it is frame rate drops often, but it's nothing a patch couldn't fix I'm sure. If you liked the first game in this spinoff series then I recommend you buy this one immediately.

Super fun game. I haven’t played the first game but this was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I picked it up. It’s like Monster Hunter meets Pokémon but has enough unique elements where it feels different from Pokémon games.

Great game. Nice story. Turnbased combat. U level up as u proceed threw game. DO NOT pre order any games from best buy tho there delivery is horrible. Will not show up on release day. Usually not even 2wks later.
