Not bad. Very different from other Monster Hunter series but it's a good game as long as you know what you're getting.

I was skeptical and buying this game because I love the monster hunter games. But this is totally different and I'm glad that I purchased it because it's a turn-based fighting strategy game but it is great graphically musically and gameplay-wise is good.

If you love Pokemon, you will love this game. This is not your typical Monster Hunter Genre. Simplistic combat system that still offers a good amount of depth. Great story with the ability to collect Monsties and level them up.

It's more of a straightforward RPG than the main Monster Hunter games, but it's still fun.

Purchased this game along with another title in the series for my grandson's birthday. He seems to really enjoy playing them. Mom can't hardly get him to put the games down.

Fun for the whole family! My daughters and I are playing this separately and watching each other play. It is very cute and very fun. We would recommend most Capcom games and all Monster Hunter titles!

This game is like a traditional monster hunter merged with a Pokémon game. You adventure around on missions while getting monster eggs you hatch and then get a new monster team member.

Really awesome game, easy to pick up and learn, hard to master. My only real complaint is really about all switch games in general, they look horrible on modern high end televisions like my G1 oled. It's like Nintendo made their console in 2009 and released it 8 years later. Games are fun, graphically however terrible compared to even xbox one s.

Big fan of monster hunter franchise. And this takes you away with totally different monster hunter its a story telling game and good one

A casual action-RPG, and that's not a negative. It's fun to play and the action is on point. It's not like the classic Monster Hunter. This feels like an anime.

one of the best Monster Hunter games i have played soo far apart from Monster Hunter Rise, and World but takes on a different take but very fun i highly recommend.

Awesome game, rpg elements is very good. Think pokemon but monster hunter universe. Worth the grind, and i love how you can see different armor. It feels rewarding.

I bought this game for my my older son and really enjoyed it. It took him some time to complete it but he's very good and enjoyed the challenge.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a great RPG similar to the Pokemon games. If you're a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise and like RPG's, you'll like this game.

Good game so far! I originally thought it was multi player, so far I do not have that option. So that is the only downside to it. But it’s a good game.

Looked for this everywhere and it was sold out. My son had been looking forward to getting it but I waited and only found the DeLuxe version.
