You have two of some of the best franchises around that have had a long and prolific history in video games combine to create a unique and welcoming new Monster Hunter game that is great for all ages. Monster Hunter has always had a bit of a learning curve to it, and while I maintain it's worth it to stick with it because once it clicks it's hard to put down, it can definitely be off-putting at first. Monster Hunter Stories takes the universe of Monster Hunter, makes it cute, and implements a Pokémon monster-catching/taming and progression system that is refreshing and wonderful to see in the Monster Hunter universe. Whether you're a fan of one or the other or both franchises, this game is a must have for the already impressive 3DS library.

This is such a great little game. If you're a fan of the Monster Hunter series, I'd definitely recommend this spin off. Good game play, story, mechanics. I think it'll be worth a second play through when I'm done.

Monster Hunter Stories is a great game to introduce younger gamers to the world of Monster Hunter. Even though the difficulty is light, that never stopped me from enjoying the turn-based combat and collection aspect of finding new monsters to train and level up. Pokemon fans take note, and check it out!

really cute stuff, the amiibos that are based on these which I don't believe were released here are super cool. I wish I could get into monster hunter more, but It never seems to hook me.

This is a great non-typical Monster Hunter game. It's not hard so it is good for when you are winding down and relaxing within the familiar Monster Hunter world but not the normal Monster Hunter settings. The story is pretty much what you would expect in an RPG but it is fun nonetheless.

If you're a fan of the series. This is a must buy for the on the go gamer.

I love the way they used the Monster Hunter world and lore to make a turn based RPG that is easy to digest. It runs great on my new 3DS XL.

This game looks childish but has complexities to the battle system. The story is predictable but still motivate you to continue on to the best. The graphics are pleasing and colorful. There are some characters and locations to interact with.

I've been waiting for this release since it was announced in Japan. This game is a different take on the Monster Hunter series but it is filled with content that's just as entertaining and pack with a lot of replay value.

It's a mix between Pokémon and Monster Hunter! Very entertaining story and gameplay. Collecting your favorite, rare monsters from the Monster Hunter franchise is exciting and feels very rewarding!

Another under rated gem in the monster hunter universe. The thrill of hatching new monsties, exploring new maps. The music is excellent, the visuals are vibrant. I really wish this was on the switch.
