Totally different take on the monster hunter series with turn based battles. Same great feel.

Great game, and nice way to learn the ropes in many ways and not go into core Monster Hunter totally blind if you haven’t played the series. Really can’t recommend this enough though, story is great, which isn’t something I’d say about normal Monster Hunter.

Wow. This game looks amazing for a 3DS title! Very bright, crisp and clean graphics, almost looks cell shaded. Gameplay is your typical rock/paper/scissors battle system so it's not super deep, but still very fun. If you're a Monster Hunter series fan and RPG fan I'd definitely pick this game up, feels great to be in a MH world and playing a full RPG. Support this so the series continues!

Definitely a fun game, with a great take on the monster hunter series. If you never played one of the previous entries, starting with this one would be a great idea. My only knock in the game, is the fact that all of the weapons are not here, and not all of the monsters are utilized. Still, it's great fun, and nice way to ease oneself in to the monsters hunter world.

I can't stop playing this game. The combat system is so much more enjoyable than Pokemon has ever been. You get the same catch em all vibe while also being able to customize your character with cool armor and weapons. This is a must buy for any fans of RPGs

I bought this game as a way to introduce myself to the Monster Hunter franchise. It was a good way to gradually tip my toes into the series and learn more about the core games. I really enjoyed this game and consequently Im a fan of the main series now.

Got this for my 14yr and she loves it. She played it all day and most of the night.

though I'm not a monster hunter fanatic i appreciate this games art direction and role playing element. for some reason this one got me hooked. 4 stars

This game feels really different than any other monster hunter game, but that isnt a bad thing. This game has a more turn based strategy feel but it does a good job of incorporating the monster hunter universe into it. Most important of all...cat puns!!

My son loves it. Great game with tons of depth and interesting game play.

This is a light hearted take on the Monster Hunter universe as a turn based Japanese RPG. You're playing a Pokemon style game with rock paper scissors system that's very deep for a kid's game. Would recommend for kids

in this game instead of hunting monster with become friends with them like a dog mans best friend they become companions with the monsters in the game and they aid you in battle agist others charters in the game

Love MH series, really hate world though(way too easy). Was an easy buy for me I love JRPG and MH so why not. Tons of armor Tons of weapons Gene splicing Cool beans
