SoCal really doesn't have many thunderstorms so I can't validate protection qualities. I am confident in the coverages promised if any of my components fails due to electrical surges. Only issue is the location of the on/off switch. It's hard to detect by feel.

This product was recommended by a friend after we lost 3 tvs (and a host of other things) in a storm when our house was struck by lightening. While I'm hoping we never have this problem again, but if we do, we will be prepared (hopefully)!

This is my second product purchase, only I went up to the next size. The features of the surge protector are wonderful; love that it includes USB ports. Gave it as a gift and the receiver was totally surprised and grateful.

This surge protector is a monster in a great way. It reduces noise going to your TV or STB. It's high quality that Monster delivers time and time again. My mind is at ease with my high dollar electronics hooked up to this beast.

I like the way it is set up and allowing some room between outlets so I can plug in a variety of devices. The usb is nice as I plugged in some long usb cords so I can have a charge spot on my entertainment center.

Great product. Expensive, but quality with number of outlets and USB ports and guaranteed performance is worth it.

Wanted a replacement for 15 year old Monster surge protector that was on old entertainment system. Was happy with performance of old unit so I stayed with Monster brand. New unit takes up much less space than old one.

This surge protector is worth every penny. We did not have one on our freezer and lost everything. Our TV and surround sound were saved! If you have ever had a power surge, I recommend the Monster.

along with my tv i had to get a surge protector for my gaming consoles as well. Great thing is that it also has 2 usb ports for mobile charging. Plus monster products are great too.

This is the best so far I use ths for my security system for some reason I had three others from different companies that stop working in 3 mounths

monster surge protector strip aloud me to plug in 8 plugs, were the last one I bought was only 6was not enough when hooking up stuff from tv.

This is our second Monster surge protector. Our first Monster surge protector lasted for almost 4 years until the house took a major storm strike. Monster replaced our first surge protector under warranty. This second Monster surge protector is used in the family room to protect the stereo system. When we need another surge protector it will be another Monster brand.

I like this surge protector because it's easy to use and it has the warranty. I am glad the Best Buy employee helped me make the decision to select this item.

I had problems with fluctuating power which culminated in blowing my Samsung curve television's box. No problems at all since I used the surge protector

Power strip works just as advertised and is of great quality. The mark up on these items is way out of line. Best But should work to reduce the cost.

Great product! I feel like my investments are protected using this surge protector! Every cable coming in runs thru this before any of my electronics!
