I am also a Best Buy Premium Total Tech Support program member. Between the two programs I have total confidence in the protection of my purchases.

Valuable, easy, and convent

I will say something they don't really say, but I find apple is good about. If I have applecare on at least one product they are usually willing to help me with any of my apple products through the chat/text feature. It is very easy and convenient.

Foul ball killed my Mac

Apple Care

It seems pricey, but not as much as having to replace your machine. I tend to err on the side of caution and I feel better knowing this is in place. Value and ease of use to be determined. So far, so good!
